Day 3: Bat.

I have a bad habit of not spending enough time on the focal point of the image, AKA, the bat. I feel like the background bushes look the best here, which doesn't feel correct. Also I tried to mess around with lighting stuff on the shirt, looks bad. It's something I really gotta work on. I think my other coloring isn't exactly good, but the shirt looks egregious. I should probably do a study or something on how light effects a shirt. And I'm sure there are tutorials out there.

I really like the perspective here

That's not saying much because the other games all have shit stories. 14 has awful pacing and a lot of really bad characters (Zenos, Fordola) that get way too much screen time. The story for 14 is just okay. They just get the benefit of being an MMO so they can make certain plot points link together with expansions which makes the story seem better than it is. Everyone kept saying the 6.2 patch story was amazing and when I was playing it I had a hard time seeing what was so amazing about it.

Of course this is all subjective. And I really don't get the Zenos hate (And people hated Fordola?). I actually loved him as a character and brought that whole shonen vibe to the game. I guess some people dislike that.

Also the 6.2 Patch story? I personally think its building up to something but it wasn't the best one. That goes to 6.0 and earlier story patches.

i did not like FF15. and i actually liked FF13 so that's saying something.

i sort of don't have faith in FF games going forward, but FF7 Remake was really good so who knows. idc about 16 at all.

Playing FFXIV really is all I need from the series now. The story in that is just leagues above the rest of the games >_>

FF16 being made by the same people lead by Yoshi-p means everyone who knows them has faith in the game, rightfully so tbh. Also FF7 Remake was amazing.

Yep respect women by taking away their choice to be what they want to be. And for some of these women, their livelihood.

Yup, a lot of them lost their jobs. I remember some articles where women were complaining about losing their jobs over this. Both in the videogame industry and I think other industries like boxing.

I guess only some of the women get their way. Fuck all the other ones it affects.

They just inserted that shit verbatim, and then never had it connect to anything.

And then almost everything from every other trailer just wasn't in the game at all?

Even that dream sequence wasn't in the game.

And I remember there being videos of Nocts dad hugging him as a child, with no context whatsoever and nothing else explained. Then theres the whole redesign of the father. And the removal of Stellar and absolutely no character development of Lunafreya.

Hell that crossover with that girl Sarah from Terra World had much more character development with Noctis.

Oh yeah, and they put in DLC of the other party members afterwards, and tried to fix up the later chapters slog.

What a disappointment...

FF7 does this with background characters too. I remember the honeybee inn and random Shinra employees/slum inhabitants you'd see time and again living out their lives.

Graphics update, with new systems, combat refinement and voices. Could even be extra scenes depending on where they go with the story and Remake.

But its not a total remake as some of the minor scenes still have the stiff animation the PSP version had.

I'm hearing people I know from America went there to play Crisis Core, now I'm seeing on my feed that people I know personally went there. And seeing Twitter, there is so much more coverage than what I've seen on that event in the past for some reason. Now I'm learning quite a few idols I personally know went there too.

I'm playing too and a bit further than you. Having played through every other game I can tell you the story always gets into some serious shit and the game always opens up.

Can't wait for that. Gameplay is amazing so far.

I googled it a bit when I saw the trailer the other day, it's apparently fairly wild. Feels weird to spoilermark real events but. The bad guy in the movie kidnapped the couple's daughter twice. The couple was so manipulated by him that they kept giving him access to their daughter and didn't press charges after the first one. The real kicker is that he apparently had an affair with both the mother and the father.

I remember my mum telling me about this story after she watched a documentary about it. I couldn't fucking believe it and was so pissed off, not only at the guy but at the unbelievably stupid parents.

I usually find comments like these directed at Asian women who are totally different from western women. Most of that culture revolves around being cute and innocent, as oppossed to sexy and independant.
