I just started on PS5. My eyes were blown away at how pretty that war on the beach was. Holy shit

I'm enjoying it as well. The character drama is surprisingly well written too. Yuna, Ishikawa, and Masako all have great side stories.

It's a little absurd at times but fun to play and combat is solid.

Because no one has a PS5.

it's a super beautiful game, but it's mediocre in pretty much every area besides that, and for the areas it isn't (like swordplay), they start to feel old as the game goes on.

I bought it for PS4 when it came out and tried to play it and got weirded out by my PS4 sounding like a jet engine so I figured I would wait for the PS5. Got a PS5 and haven't touched it yet. I need to.

Ghost is fucking gorgeous, this dismissive attitude is dumb. It's looks awesome on PS4 just like how Red Dead 2 and TLOU2 also look damn good on it.

Be sure to play on Lethal TC, that's where the game really shines and rises above the claims of mediocrity

As someone with a PC capable of playing Metro Exodus completely maxed out (and has done so), I respectfully disagree.

• forced drama related to Bushido

I acknowledge that these are issues that I have with the game, but some people swear that it's a GOAT PlayStation title, so I feel it's something you have to play and decide on your own.

Everything is pretty, weirdly enough. You can't do any activity without stopping to say, "DAMN, look at that flower/moon/mountain/field of wheat/god rays/river". It wasn't bad, per se...but sometimes you just want a rock to be a rock, not a life-changing experience.

There is simply significantly more detail on screen at all times in Metro Exodus, than Ghost.

I see what's confusing you. When the average person says a game is beautiful they're talking about the art direction and how that is brought to life. They're not counting polygons. The average person doesn't give a rat's ass about that unless it looks truly terrible.

Anyway, the game has nice art style, however, it just simply lacks in detail compared to games like Metro Exodus.
Granted, Ghost is an open world game and Metro isn't but how about Red Dead Redemption 2? That looks miles better than Ghost as well.

Its just that tc is talking about how blown away he was from playing the intro to Ghost on a PS5.

I played a significant bit of the game on my PS5 as well but I also had Demon's Souls so there was absolutely nothing wowing about the intro to Ghost on a PS5.

You just dont pay enough attention lol.
