Same thing happened a couple of weeks here in Southeast Michigan. Roads, freeways, and basements all got flooded in the entire area; even our basement got flooded for the first time ever.

To be fair, SSBB was massive on this site, and generally speaking across the gaming internet at the time, so it isn't particularly surprising that Brawl was an initial point of contact for a lot of people

He was always known as "Jack O'Lantern" in the Japanese games (as well as the localized version of Jack Bros.), but only became "Pyro Jack" due to character limits in the original English version of SMT Nocturne. That name stuck here for years, but starting with Persona 5 and extending to the HD version of Nocturne, he's been redubbed "Jack O'Lantern".

With such a huge gap between now and your last outing, you may actually have a pretty good time with it, since it's still much more content than Gen 1 had.

It's those of us who have been playing the games consistently since the old days who were left burned by Sword/Shield.

Yeah, I don't think the OLED model is anything to write home about, but people getting angry at Nintendo over it because it's not the Pro model that they were led to believe was coming need to redirect their vitriol towards the right people.

As long as it's not done seriously, then there's no real issue. Most of them are drawn to be attractive, anyway.
