But I can't deny that there could be something else out there that we just can't understand since we are limited in our perception of things. I think it's arrogant to think humans are all knowing beings. Just to compare to other living things, they have different ways to understand reality that we have and they have their limits.

This is how I feel.

Hell, we can't even see the world how it truly is because our eyes only have 2/3 cones to perceive light. There are species that have many more, and their perception of reality is radically different. There's also the fact that visible light is only a very narrow band of the light spectrum.

That's just one example, but the point is that there is a real possibility of some kind of higher power at work, not necessarily God or any god, but something.

Adults being snarky at kids shows will never cease to be the most annoying shit ever. Caillou was fine, and even if it wasn't, there's no reason for a grown-ass adult to celebrate its cancellation.

Yeah, I saw that fight some time before I started watching the series. Superman made it sound like he was about to do some really impressive shit, but he only hits Darkseid twice, and still loses the fight and is only bailed out by Lex Luthor giving Darkseid the Anti-Life Equation and trapping them both in the Source Wall.

Kind of underwhelming.

Games really haven't progressed as much as I would have liked. I suppose with higher overhead and finer graphics, it's to be expected, right?

Yeah, there were massive leaps between, say, NES and SNES/Genesis; SNES/Genesis to N64/Playstation; and N64/Playstation to PS2/GCN/Xbox; and PS2/GCN/Xbox to PS3/X360. Since then, it's basically been diminishing returns, as the leaps have been less impressive since, at least from a graphics standpoint.
