I worked in a nursing home for three years. A lot were either really demanding, apathetic about living, nearly deaf, not all there, or talked your ear off because no one visited them. There were some cool ones there but I rarely got the time to just sit and visit with them while I was working. And even then it was just small talk.

Currently I've been working with a family for almost and year, and haven't really made any kind of connection. And I would like to, we just have NOTHING in common. It bothers me sometimes but it's a minor complaint for an otherwise easy job.

Like 50+ y/o. And it sucks because I work either with them or for them most of the time. I'm polite as possible. I just can't ever seem to joke around with them most of the time. Half the time I can't even tell if they're joking. And they just look at me with this half open smile and I can't tell whether they are serious or messing with me.

It doesn't help that there's this huge gap in technology knowledge with them usually having little to no interest in computers or video games.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm not sure what else I can do besides age myself. Lol.

I would say she's just not my type more than anything else. The taste in clothing, the nails, tan, the watch, leather jacket, the way she poses for the selfies, all of it just screams we have absolutely nothing in common. Her lifestyle I'm sure is completely different. She probably goes clubbing. I mean any attempt at conversation would just be dead on arrival.
All those qualities by association just make her unappealing to me. If she toned everything down she could have a girl next door look going on but it's hard to say with all of these other cues getting in the way.

I turned up the difficulty to blood and broken bones because my cousin recommended doing that. It seemed like an appropriate level of difficulty to me. Properly leveled up and with the right preparations, I could still handle everything within my level range. Maybe try that, it may force you to learn some of the other game mechanics.

Overall though yes I agree. I like being rewarded for having the right timing, which the Witcher 3 doesn't really do. It's all about having the proper tools to take down your opponent, and when you have that you can just hack and slash.

Yea my friend showed me this game. The way it was advertised it sounded too good to be true so I decided not to get it. My friend got it though and within a couple hours it seemed like he had exhausted all there was to actually do in the game, and it was all some big loop. Protect this thing for a certain amount of time, and beat the level. While doing tiny objectives within that level to up your score. Then level up your weapons and then open up loot boxes x1000 until you get something good. And repeat. And buy loot boxes if you get impatient.
Not my cup of tea.
Just seems like it was designed to milk money out of the players through microtransactions. Not like it would be the first game doing that though. <.<

Hmm not especially but if I were to choose one I would go with the Persona 5 protagonist winter outfit. As the leader of the phantom thieves he steals hearts/treasure. It would make some sense for him to be wearing a crown, since the first treasure he stole was a crown that looked very similar to the royal crown. But if you aren't a fan of Persona it wouldn't make sense to you. Otherwise maybe try an outfit not from my collection. It's been a while since I paid any attention to what all was out there though.

Netflix, Hulu, Funimation, Crunchyroll, HBO Now, Amazon Prime Video..
I guess the competition among them is nice. It drives them to make the best exclusive shows. I personally favor Netflix and Funimation. I like the exclusives on Netflix and Funimation produces some quality dubs and quickly too. Disney can branch off for all I care. It just means less stuff to skip over on Netflix. I very rarely watch movies anyway. If I do I usually just go to the theaters for that.

I've been on both sides of the fence, but I just kept it bottled up and never told a girl I liked them. I was overly nice and I still cringe about it. But never pursued a romantic relationship when I was younger. Which is good because we had nothing in common. :D I was quite dense...XD

Now though I'm happy to be single, but I'll date if the opportunity arises. I met this woman online and we talked for a while, she was definitely more..eager to progress the relationship and I was hesitant to go forward until I actually met her. And sure enough, more overweight than I gathered from her pictures, and looked way over at another wall the entire time we were talking. She was happy, we talked for a few hours and after giving some thought to it I decided to let her go before she got too attached. That's about it though, but it's noteworthy to me because I barely date. Haha.

She immediately and completely cut all ties with me afterwards, so I guess I should be thankful I never got into a stalker issue situation.

Have you tried indeed.com? You can search for jobs in your area and then just attach your name, email address, and a resume. Easy to send to multiple employers at once. That's how I got my job. I don't understand your attachment to paper applications. On the computer I can just copy paste. Instead of writing my name, DOB, references, etc, dozens of times. Not to mention the drive up there. Now meeting the manager and showing initiative -- that I can understand.

I think it will help to expand the audience of the show by having more female viewers. I seriously doubt that most fans of the show will stop watching altogether because of the gender change. It's just the loud people getting all the attention right now. I wasn't too keen on an old man playing the role of the Doctor, but he impressed me. I think she looks the part. Their judgement as far as picking a Doctor hasn't let me down yet.

Being single isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. And relationships aren't always bliss either. Just do what makes you happy instead of changing yourself for other people who have different interests or personalities. I'm an introvert and people treat it like it's a disease. I prefer being alone or around a few close friends and not much else. I don't have much in common with most people. So when I do find someone who shares my interests I go the distance and see if we can hang out or be friends. Not everyone is the party type or a social butterfly and by extension you may have other traits that compliment others who are different from you. Maybe you are a good listener or maybe you are not afraid to speak the truth. Just work on you and improve yourself for your own sake and not just to fit in but to be proud of the person you see in the mirror every day.

Idk how people can play nothing but bounties, rifts, greater rifts, keywarden hunting, and the campaign over and over for years and years and years. Diablo 3 was good, but repeating it until the end of time to get good loot wasn't appealing to me, especially when there are tons of other good games out there.

Fallout 4 released in 2015. Tes is likely to release in 2019 or so, with Fallout 5 at 2023 at the soonest. Witcher 4? Unlikely. Witcher 3 was the last game in the main series

They asked us which one we most wanted they didn't say it had to be realistic.

Completely blind and a somewhat minor mental handicap- to the point that he knew what was going on but not enough that he could take care of himself.
