I can see a lot of people not being able to play this though simply because my phone is running hot just from idling on the home screen (and one of my summons was laggy). My phone isn't shitty (OnePlus 7 Pro ) and has never run hot when playing any other game so it caught me by surprise.

It's has a gacha if that's what you mean. From the tutorial battle it seems to play like a turn based RPG with 3D graphics.

It does at least let you straight up pick any character you want upon starting. If you want to reroll to get multiple SSRs though it seems you would want to use an emulator as although the roll is at the very beginning, you have to clear data to reroll which you can bypass on an emulator.

I'm rerolling for multiple SSRs before starting so can't really give more info other than that right now.

I have no idea on what the game is like now. I got the notification for pre-download yesterday and I'm just starting it up now.

I'd be surprised if college football goes ahead (or completes the season) purely because of the sheer number of players they would have to keep tabs on.

105 players per college (not including staff). 130 teams even if you restrict it to just top division. And you're dealing with unpaid college kids rather than (theoretically) more mature adults whose earnings depend on it.

I just don't trust college kids not to mess it up when you're dealing with that many.

He will once he progresses into the next season yes. Doubt he is going to waste time adding last seasons financials

Also keep in mind what is listed there right now is for last season. It will change once KCF progresses into the next season which is when he will update. So some teams may look tight but have a lot of space on update whilst some teams may already be over cap.

AI teams don't have their financials listed, only user controlled teams do.

AI teams also operate under a different cap to user teams (self imposed) but the cap that is listed for them on the sheet is in relation to the user cap not AI cap

Read a report today where a group of 60+ people went offshore for 30+ days. They all quarantined for 14 days beforehand and tested negative. They came back because people started showing COVID symptoms. 59 people tested positive. Other results they are waiting on but no negatives yet.

Also Madden 06 has coaching contracts for 2 to 3 years and its pretty easy to snatch another teams OC or DC and make them your HC. Is any part of the offseason used on looking at and signing coaches?

Nobody gets to scout (which I guess theoretically puts AI at a slight advantage). You just get the combine stats and then the relevant categories for that position. So like Throw Power, Throw Accuracy, Interview for a QB / Run Block, Pass Block, Interview for an O-lineman / Etc

Nobody gets to do anything with coaches in the offseason. Basically we let the AI sim it and whoever you end up with, you end up with. KCF says it doesn't seem to make any difference for the purposes of how he sims games.

You can change your head coaching strategy so if you get stuck with a head coach who doesn't match your team philosophy it's not a big deal, you just adjust it to whatever you want.

According to the play store I am up to date and it isn't anywhere in my collection or able to be crafted. I've been playing Battlegrounds this afternoon too so app updated before I started that.

How are people playing Transfer Student? I can't find it at all in game.

One of the Spellburst cards has the effect of return the spell to your hand. It's a 2 drop. Not a rogue card but that doesn't exactly stop rogue.

Is spellburst a one time only activation or once per turn or every time a spell is cast? Because there's some potential janky stuff that can happen if it's every spell

New York always gets me since I'm from Yorkshire and I know that York is pretty much as far as it possibly could be from being like New York.

Everything in the York city centre is still contained within the original medievil castle walls with a lot of the houses/shops within the walls still being their original structures from the 1300s

I stand corrected, so it is. I assumed it was just the island part. So it's just a small country rather than an island.

427 sq miles is a small island to be fair but that doesn't really count against it when it has a crazy high population density compared to other small islands.

That's why people use Hades with the summon method because he paralyzes too.

That makes sense as I feel like the most likely place I got it from is either the door handle or the parcel drop handle at the post office. There are other possibilities but that seems the most likely from the limited options, especially as I haven't seen them wipe down anything at that office or have any sort of precautions except 'only 2 people inside the area with staff at a time'

That was also the place where I ran out of sanitizer in my house so wasn't able to wash my hands until I got home like 5 minutes later (by which point my car would be infected I guess)

There's plenty of non-summon ways to beat Ruby. Mainly dazer abuse and/or brute forcing by the defense using hero drinks or relying on fixed damage from like Lucky 7's + Comet 2 or ???? Enemy Skill or you could probably do it by throwing a ton of gil at him. Not sure if I'm forgetting one.

I rarely use summons in FF games as I don't see the appeal and they typically have long ass animations or slow you down. I think I basically used them in FFX to avoid damage.

So yeah I like the implementation in FF7R. Used very sparingly and didn't slow down anything.

Will vouch for this being the best run project I've been apart of on B8. I've been in the league for 8 seasons now (so ~4 years) and this is one of the main things that keeps me on B8.

You can be as hands on or hands off as you like. Some people are incredibly active whilst others are not and both sides are fine. KCF is also willing to run sides on a temporary basis if something comes up that prevents your participation which for the most part after the offseason is seeing how things pan out.

KCF is also willing to go above and beyond to help people out if they don't understand or need advice on what to do. There's also measures in place to ensure fairness is maintained in case there's a misunderstanding with the valuations of players/etc.

Last season every gameweek was live simmed on Discord (with results posted on B8 after). That may or may not be the case next season but we do just chat on Discord too.

That people just don't take it seriously up there with wearing masks and social distancing. Matches up with the few people I know from up there where either they aren't taking it seriously or the ones that do take it seriously are complaining about how bad everyone else is. I've also seen a few news articles that seem to match up with that.

Just looking at the stats for the other surrounding counties to Orange, I wonder if positives are attributed to testing location rather than patient location.

I know that the majority of the test sites are in Orange County and people will drive in to Orange to get tested because places like Seminole, Lake, Osceola just don't have the same number of locations.

Maybe I can finally go get my negative test if they are testing 140k people a day now. I know when I was really struggling to get tested it had dipped down to like 70k when it had previously been like 110-120k. I wonder if they reopened some testing sites.

Looks like there was 1371 positives in my county so I assume about 12-14k tests here. Looking at the death toll it's now up to 80 for this county from 69 when I last checked a few days back. Disney overlaps with this county and Osceola and Osceola is at 31 deaths (which is the same as a few days ago). +306 cases there.

I started watching this the other day and I'm up to almost the end of season 3 (just finished episode 11)

Haven't read anything in this thread yet, just want to know if there's unmarked spoilers or not before I even look at other posts

Injury bug hits again but at least I seem to be doing something this season

Cotton, washable. My missus found a template and made multiple for me of varying designs.

I rarely did any of those before the pandemic.

My typical leisure activities were going to sports events (I have season tickets), going to bars (or friends houses / having them over), going to the cinema and theater, going to parks for walks or to play tennis/etc and going to restaraunts.

Sports events - Not allowed
Cinema - Not allowed
Theater - Not allowed
Restaraunts - Most of the ones we went to are still takeout only
Bars - Nobody to really go with and I'll likely avoid for a while at least (I maily went to watch sports with a friend)
Parks / Sports - No cost and could still do these during the pandemic anyway (well Tennis was shut off until late May)
Friends houses / My house - I guess buying beer and food kinda helps the economy when I do this

For sure this is the case for me. All my gear is max level so needs evolving to improve my power score Evolving 1 piece of S gear, nevermind SR, takes an entire days worth of stamina if drops are favorable

My only other way of improving is class upgrades and every class I have is 8+ right now. And each upgrade is +50-100 to power score which is a drop in the ocean at this point.

I'm almost capped out on story progress. So I am like 1 day away from it being a login for 10 minutes each day plus guild war and that's it schedule.

Like where? Most of the places I went pre-pandemic are either still off limits or weren't affected in the first place. I guess it would make it more feasible to go to the bar but my friends haven't had it so the risk would be on them rather than me. Easier just to have them at my house at that point.

I'll probably infrequently meet friends either at my house or theirs I guess but at this point of the pandemic, I would have likely done that regardless of getting it. No large gatherings or anything. I also work with all but one of the friends I would meet and am in rooms with them on a daily basis once I return to work on the 27th. So I'm not sure meeting them at a house is any higher risk than being with them at work.

Nope. I've tried a couple of times without much luck. I even had an appointment but they closed the clinic down without telling people or cancelling appointments.

How did things go?

I gave a kind of running diary in this topic (probably a previous topic) when I had it but it can be summised up as like 2-3 days for really shitty symptoms and then like 7-10 days of just annoyance.

Day 1 - Symptoms were just mild Muscle/Joint ache (Deduced after this was likely the virus)
Day 2 - Sore Throat, Dry Cough, Muscle/Joint Ache, Headache, Tiredness
Day 3 - All the above plus Fever/Chills, some difficulty breathing,
Day 4 - All the above but starting to reduce in severity with chest pain now thrown into the mix
Day 5 - Most of the above subsided or was minor. Basically just mild congestion and felt like my ribs were bruised
Day 6 to like 12 - Just on/off minor irritations like congestion, infrequent cough, mild chest pain that reduced in persistance

After Day 12 I just had on and off chest pains which disappeared after the 18-19 day mark. Today would be I think 25 or 26 days after symptoms first showed up. I actually still have a bit of a flemmy throat and that hasn't gone away since the beginning.

One thing I cannot stress enough is that the muscle/joint pains I had late Day 2 and early Day 3 are the worst muscle/joint pains I have ever had in my life and nothing comes close to it. I don't typically take medicine unless absolutely necessary but I was chugging painkillers for that.

But on the whole it just like 2-3 days of feeling really bad and then like a week plus of feeling run down / being inconvenienced. The worst part for me was having to keep away from my elderly cat (who is ridiculously attached to me) because I was terrified of her catching it. I slept on a camping bed out of the way for 2 weeks before moving back to the bedroom with her and the missus.

I mean it more in the we are still a long long way from any sense of a normal life.

I think we will get back to some normalcy by the later months in the year. However, I don't necessarily think they will wait until the numbers are under control to do it.

With how the US has handled it, it may have actually been better to say fuck it and go the Sweden herd immunity route. The way it has been handled has basically done that anyway just with a delay to it.
