So for those who dont know, Colorado summers can get pretty toasty. Not as bad as other areas, but still pretty hot. With the AC set to 74, my upstairs game room usually is more like 79 degrees. I have two tower fans that keep me feeling fine, but I want to make sure I wont overheat the consoles. They are well ventilated.

I do have a portable ac which is fantastic, but we use that for the upstairs bedroom. We have giant windows in there and that room was getting hot when the sun began to set until it falls behind the mountains.

I don't have A/C in my apartment and my room can get to 80-90s during the day. I've never had issues and I've been using it for years.

79 is not that hot. A pinch uncomfortable to a human for indoors, but the electronics aren't going to care.

There's no liveable temperature that's gonna be a problem. The issue would be if you constantly have it in direct sunlight, that would cause problems even in the 70s.

We keep our thermostats at 79, no harm at all. It is actually quite cool for a game console/PC.

It's is 113 where I live right now and 80 degrees currently in my apartment. My launch PS4 running The Last of Us 2 sounds like a jet engine but runs totally fine. PC runs fine as well. I think you are fine.

I live in Florida. I've never had a console die on me. You'll be fine.

One of my game rooms is poorly ventilated, and sometimes on hot days, with all the electronics on, that room can get 90+ degrees. Never had an issue even for 10+ hour play sessions at that temperature.
