Probably because there are not a lot of transgendered actors that are famous enough (A-listers) to generate the box office movement they need.

Sometimes movies can get away with unknown or little-known actors, but not all that often.

and part of the reason there aren't many trans A-listers is because roles like this are given to cis women instead of trans men

Or maybe it's because trans people make up like 0.7% of the population and therefore it works be statistically unlikely for there to exist more than a couple who can act in SAG, and the likelihood that they have the right age and look makes it even more unlikely.
