Pay it off early. You likely won't get much better than 10% return on the market, and it's not guaranteed with all the uncertainty right now. The more money you pay off, the less interest you have to pay. One of the big reasons why so many people get stuck with these debts for so long is because the early interest on these loans is so high. (The interest is a percentage of your principle, so the the beginning stages where the principle is highest is where you will be making the most payments towards interest. You want to get to the point where you are paying off the load, not just paying interest ASAP.)

It would be debatable if they were 2-3% loans but 6-9% you should absolutely put your excess money toward paying them off quicker. Private loans don't have any of the nice protections federal loans come with either.

Yeah this is what I was thinking for the most part. I already am pretty well below my original balance so my interest should start getting pretty low soon.

i took out 5 small private student loans (like one per semester, just for tuition) and my current principle balance is about 29k. The interest rates range from about 6-9%.

The monthly payment is supposed to be $400 but I've been doing $800 now that I can afford it but I'm wondering if that money is better spent elsewhere. It's really tempting to get rid of this debt though.

Yeah I get it was maybe a mistake in Xillia 1 which I thought was very pleasantly resolved in Xillia 2 (I love the combat in this game!) , but man it's awful for it to be back in any capacity.

Was definitely disappointed with Arise. Meanwhile their current mobile cash grab Tales of Luminaria has significantly more effort put into its characters, music, and story. Shame mobile combat is so awful.

I will never play a mobile game out of principle. can't believe my two favorite series (this + fire emblem) are doing this to me ._.

Xillia started the stupid random super armor on everything trend Tales of seems to have now. Xillia 2 wasn't as bad as Xillia 1 and I think it has the best battle system in the series. Zestiria, Berseria and Arise then doubled down on the shitty super armor. I really hate the battle system in Zestiria and Berseria too, it made me stop playing them.

I don't remember it being that bad in Berseria, but yes the super armor is absolutely infuriating and makes learning fun combos pointless because they don't even matter lol

That track was miles ahead of anything else in that game holy shit, it was like done by an entirely different team.

Honestly chapter 3 gave me hope because I felt like we were learning a lot but then 4 happened and I kinda clocked out.

Same, I had no interest when I got all the achievements on my first playthrough and no grade shop devastated me.

My achievements were bugged and I missed 3 story-related ones which was really annoying and the only reason I was thinking of doing one anyway.

I anticipated that game for so long..
Nearly 5 years after Tales of Berseria and it was just so mediocre.

The characters seemed to have no love at all... No fun, no joy, just a really shitty situation that made them all one dimensional and dull. No plot or anything until the last two hours of the game. Some of the last skits and side quests were cute and enjoyable but most were just tedious. There weren't any side characters that made it feel like we were active in the world. I feel like even Tales of Zestiria was superior here.

The villains didn't exist really. The world felt so empty.

The battle system was really bad, mainly because of the boss fights. The regular fights were okay, but once I got to the end dungeon where everything had like 100k HP i just wanted the game to be over. If you went on the board when the game came out half the advice was "just spam reigning slash lol". No point in trying to combo bosses, they aren't staggerable. You have the boost attacks but when you start a combo they can just auto shake out of it so it's really a waiting game.

The graphics are nice but the music is forgettable.

It's the only Tales game i didn't immediately dive into a NG+. After I cleared Hearts R I played through the whole game again. But this I think I barely started a new file before moving on.

I wanted the love the older games have. And I don't even mean back to Phantasia/Symphonia/etc. I even loved Berseria to death. But man this game I tried so hard to love but I just can't. I'm glad other people do though.

my face is shaped weird so i can often feel them on my nose but my nose is also cold almost all of the time so the heat it provides balances it out. I'd say a 3/10, but I don't mind. Haven't gotten sick since we started wearing them and for that I am thankful.

it's pretty fun. I like the Tellius games more though. The DLC was actually really cool and I loved it as well. I wish the units were more unique, I feel like you can turn anyone into anything for the most part.

Arise was great except for its giant bosses.

Reigning Slash was also ridiculously overpowered but that wouldn't be so bad if the giant bosses were less awful.

Tbh I don't think that Reigning Slash is really OP, I just think the way the combat system works there's no point in even trying to combo. It's kind of like Jude's Force Palm in the original Xillia. When bosses have super armor whenever they want you might as well go for the strongest single attack you have.

Anyway, to answer the OP: Vesperia and Graces F. They play quite differently but are the best at the type, in my opinion.
