Mildly annoying at times but not worth complaining about at all

Depends on the mask construction and material, really, but in general I don't find them annoying at all.

if it's a fresh cloth mask then no discomfort. if it's a mask that's been washed then discomfort from all the loose lint getting into my nose.

Depends on which ones I'm wearing. Some can make my ears a little sore if I have to wear them for several hours at a time, but I've got comfier ones for when I anticipate that happening. In short, it's completely negligible.

Really uncomfortable tbh. I wear glasses and it's fucking annoying, with my new pair of glasses basically falling off my face it I try.

I've never tried an n95 but I assume it'd be potentially worse

They kinda hurt my ears after a while where the elastic strap creates a pinch point. But the mask also warms my face really well in this cold weather. So it's a trade off.

They fog my glasses up and they give the effect of someone telling you "you are now manually breathing".

I stopped wearing mine because i'm triple vacced and don't care if I get the nonvacced sick.

my face is shaped weird so i can often feel them on my nose but my nose is also cold almost all of the time so the heat it provides balances it out. I'd say a 3/10, but I don't mind. Haven't gotten sick since we started wearing them and for that I am thankful.

Depends on how long I have to wear it. Gets sore around the ears after ~30 minutes, but it's fine before then. The real issue is my already grumbly voice gets grumbled even more under the mask.

0/10 half the time I forget I have it on.

4 out of 10, my ears start to hurt after a while and my glasses fog up constantly.

I have to wear one 12 hours a day at work so it's kinda annoying. N95 after a few hours makes my face red and feel slightly sunburnt.

Not at all. Especially compared to having eyeball pain, not being able to taste pizza, and ed. Yeah i'll take the mask everytime.

Its really a shame nobody cares about their health. Oh well. If you dont care for yourself enough dont expect anyone else to. I wonder how long before they reinstate the masks. 2 months tops.

Sometimes I start feeling mildly suffocated, but I just go into an area with no one in it and take a few breaths. People come off as giant baby idiots when they whine about discomfort and don't even attempt to find a way to resolve it other than just bitching about every little thing. It's like they were just trying to pretend to be an adult and this tiny thing broke them out of character.

They're kinda annoying to wear with glasses (fogging, sometimes falling off) but no problems wearing the mask itself. 2.5/10

i have breathing problems and it honestly does make it pretty hard for me to breathe. But i still wouldn't consider not wearing one when i go out

Masks have been mandatory here since 2020. I'm so used to it now that I barely notice.

I had issues with my safety glasses fogging up at work in the early days, but I found a mask that works well with that and it rarely happens anymore.

Only in the summer is it even an issue.

I work at a job where there are times where I have to lift multiple heavy things for a long period of time. And even then, out of breath and tired from that, the mask is only at like a 4, tops, as far as uncomfortableness

Anyone who complains about masks being unpleasant are huge pussies lol.

They also do do something...Not as much as an official mask, but its been proven that they can increase the range of potential cross contamination between no mask vs cloth mask.

Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

100% depends on the mask. I've found a basic black cotton one that is comfy as fuck as we don't need to wear medical grade in most cases here. When we do need the med grade ones, yeah they suck.

It fogs up my glasses, which is irritating but not really a massive deal. The real problem is because I have pretty severe year-round allergies. On any given day, there's like a 20% chance I'll be able to breathe through my nose. I sneeze constantly. And even when it's a good day and I can breathe somewhat normally, my nose will still run constantly. I probably have to blow my nose every 20 minutes at least, and significantly more if it's a rough day and I'm sneezing/congested. And when all of that is going on inside a mask, it's frankly pretty disgusting. I really can't wear one for more than a couple hours before I need to take it off and clean my face/get a new mask. I avoid wearing it whenever possible. And I actually try to plan my day to break up the time I spend in public so I can get a little rest from the mask every so often.

All that being said, I still wear it. Fuck anybody who doesn't wear one without a legitimate medical reason not to.

Very. N95s are part of my PPE so I was wearing these before the pandemic. They aren't designed to be worn for hours on end.

2-3/10. I work in a grocery store, so I've been masking for years now.

The N95s honestly are a pain in the ass but gotta do what you gotta do.

Yeah I heard they are more for helping you prevent spreading it if you got it rather than protecting you. They offer some protection but little compared to n95s

It partially depends on the mask itself. I have a big head and masks that are a little tighter tend to hurt my ears. Like, they get red and raw.

When that's not happening I usually don't even notice I'm wearing one. So 1/10 most of the time, 4/10 on the worst days.
