I would much rather watch a sensible finish than multiple big moves that don't warrant a kick out or serve the story of the match. We're in the middle, maybe slowly moving out of the video game style era of wrestling FTR vs. DIY.... honestly any match that is clear FTR was putting together, is infinitely better than 90% of tag matches today. Trent Barretta is a fucking star Eddie Kingston, Cm Punk, MJF, Bryan Danielson, Darby Allen, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Thunder Rosa, Briscoes, and as corny as he can be at times, Cody Rhodes, are the only ones today that can make you believe in their matches and programs. The late 90s in particular is an absolutely terrible midcard scene that was getting propelled almost entirely by Rock and Austin always having great programs.
