The Nobel committee is fine, but awarding the peace prize to Obama was a complete joke. As, in hindsight, was awarding it to Aung San Suu Kyi.

Suu Kyi was awarded because she fought against the oppressive goverment, and now she is the oppressive government. there was talks about rescinding her Nobel award, but it would mean nothing.

I had to do a school project about Burma/Myanmar before. Pretty fucked up shit goes on around there. Total government control over everything and they jail/kill anyone who speaks out against it.

they even refused to grant citizenship to the people who cant prove their ancestor already a burmanese before 1823, and of course under these persecution the files needed already destroyed.

btw the tv series ending is not because budget issue but more about "artistic" issue. D&R planned to be the real ending, but that shit wont go well on TV therefore they make an alternate ending for tv broadcast while keeping the true final episode in cinema.

I like monster but obviously the villains ability to survive what he did, and their charisma was obviously unrealistic. That, and a better writer could have done the same impactful story in less episodes.

a Netflix adaptation series would be good, and they can change the main character's ethnicity/nationality and it wont have an impact to the story.
