Not true at all; My 6 was still relatively fast even with the updates. Try something else to lie about. I only got the 7 cause of the new sleeker look and my service needed to be changed (Went from one phone company to another.)

Never understood why people pay hundreds for a phone, I use a Nokia Lumia that I paid something like £50 for with £10 a month pay as you LOL.

Saying that I probably come from the last generation that didn't grow up with mobiles.

Because they're not phones anymore. They're personal computers that do a lot of things. It's a phone, a camera, a book, a computer, a calculator, a planner, a journal, a game device, etc. etc.

Makes more sense to me to spend money on a phone than it does to spend money on most things, really.

lets be real, 99.9% of people out there use their phones to call, text, mindlessly browse facebook/istagram/snapchat, take pictures of their food and selfies, use google maps, and maybe play Candy Crush or Clash of Clans while they're taking a shit. there's no reason to buy a $1k phone with 6GB of RAM every year or two for that
