Not directly, but I've done things for my parents/brother where I'd pick something up while shopping for myself, and they pay me back for it

Works better than just directly giving money because the ability to hold on to (thing they want) until I get the money means that I'd almost definitely get my money back even if my immediate family wasn't generally trustworthy about this. If I ever did just give money directly, it would be under the assumption that I would not get it back.

My pet theory on the issue is that Trump is eyeballs-deep in debt to various Russian oligarchs, and that it's something akin to a blackmail scenario, with the dirt being them calling in the loans and/or exposing the fact that he's got a lower net worth than your average American.

Mostly just because his whole fixation on his personal wealth strikes me as too obsessed for his claims on it to be legit

(this doesn't cover whether he actually did things that would qualify as collusion re:the election, but yeah)

The Imperials laid siege on Kyoto, and had the upper hand as the Shogunate forces struggled to defend the palace. Seeking reinforcements, they called for Yamakawa Hiroshi to return and help fortify the defenses. However, Yamakawa was unable to pass through the attackers, so he devised a plan. He assembled a Lion Dance marching group, and marched right in front of the armies and into the castle. Matsudaira Katamori was impressed, and named him the commander of the defenses. Unfortunately, he died in combat the same day.

Scare has been lynched! He was Yamakawa Hiroshi, TOWN Vanilla.

The Shogunate continued to struggle against the invading imperials, and suffered many casualties. Among them was the adopted heir of the prestigous Makino clan, Makino Tadakuni, daimyo of the Nagaoka domain.

Sceptile has died! He was Makino Tadakuni, TOWN Vanilla.

After several victories, the Shogunate has tasted defeat. The Imperials prepare for one final push to retake the Capital and establish their dominance over the country. The Shogunate is looking to deal the finishing blow and preserve their rule. One battle remains to decide the future of the country.

The Shogunate forces marched on to Kyoto, and what once seemed like a sure victory for the Imperial Army was quickly turning into countless defeats. The combined forces of Choshu and Satsuma were unable to stop the advancing samurai loyal to the shogun and the surrounded the Imperial Palace. Although originally willing to work with the Emperor, the Shogun now wanted absolute power restored. In order to demonstrate his control over the country, he had the emperor captured and put to death for treason. The country was in shock, and the Imperial Army had suffered their largest loss yet, both to their morale and their cause.

VI has been lynched! He was Meiji, MAFIA Godfather.

However, the imperials fought on. A new emperor was crowned and declared his rule over the country. Meanwhile, in a shocking turn of events, the Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu was assassinated by ronin from Satsuma who vowed to avenge Saigo and the Emperor's deaths. As usual, another major victory for the shogunate was met with a loss of equal magnitude.

Plum has died! He was Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu, TOWN Jack-of-all-Trades.

Both major leaders of the war have died, but the war wages on. Those who support the new Emperor rallied together and marched on the palace, now controlled by the Shogunate once again, determined to retake the capital and install the new Emperor as the head of government. This will be the final battle of the Boshin War.

After being defeated and shouldering blame for the loss in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi, Takenaka Shigekata formed a new army, the Junchutai, and went to fight the Imperial Army one more time. As the battle raged on at the Tokugawa stronghold in Kofu, the Junchutai showed up just in time to provide some much needed reinforcements. The shogunate started to push back slowly, and for the first time victory seemed possible. Takenaka was determined to redeem himself, and pushed through enemy lines with his eyes set on the most influential man in Satsuma. Surrounded by the Junchutai, Saigo Takamori had no choice but to take the warrior's way out, slicing his stomach open on the battlefield.

Red has been lynched! He was Saigo Takamori, MAFIA Vanilla

Saigo Takamori, the man who fueled the war by not accepting the Shogun's resolution to step down while keeping some powers, is dead. A once bleak future now shines with optimism for the Shogunate, as the Imperial Army is suffering numerous defeats and losing very important people. However, in war bad news always comes with the good. Although his Junchutai was successful, redeeming him of his failures in Kyoto, Takenaka would not live to see his name cleared, as he was slain in the battle.

Phoenix has died! He was Takenaka Shigekata, TOWN Prostitute

Feeling confident, the Shogun decided to launch a counter-attack against the Satsuma-Choshu forces, and marched for the Imperial Palace in Kyoto. With the original plan of surrendering power to the Emperor far from his mind, Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu is determined to regain total control of the country, and it starts by retaking Kyoto.
