If he had no involvement, then we will have been correct about it being a witch hunt to take him down.

The scope of the investigation is Russian coordination with individuals associated with the campaign of the President, and any matters arising from that. If it leads to Trump, so be it. If it doesn't, then it still fulfilled its stated purpose and found a ton of witches. In no scenario is Trump correct in characterizing this as "a witch hunt to take him down," unless you have evidence that Mueller isn't conducting his investigation objectively and dispassionately.

Bioshock 1 is alright, outside of its heavy-handed "moral choice" system. The game fundamentally misrepresent Objectivism throughout, but it's pretty cool that it references outside material so heavily. Bioshock makes a better attempt at a story than a vast majority of games do. It looks shoddy and preachy next to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but most games do.

Infinite does a much better job of critiquing American history than Bioshock 1 does critiquing Objectivism. Infinite has some other issues (poor character arcs, for one), but again, at least an effort was made.

Both of these comments miss the nuanced reality of the situation. The SF bay area Antifa members who showed up at UC Berkeley last year with paramilitary gear and set fire to the campus are domestic terrorists; other regional chapters of Antifa are not.

In any case, this bill is terrible. Violence, arson and credible threats are already illegal. The only purpose this bill serves is to grant the government vague and authoritarian powers to lock up protesters. If the GOP's goal is to turn me into a single-issue voter, this bill will certainly do the trick. A vote for this bill is a permanent disqualifier, as far as my vote is concerned.

It's hard to get back into. I took several months off, jumped back in around the time Solo came out, and just got murdered non-stop by people with superior gear.

Let me be clear... the biggest factor there, far and away, was that I was out of practice, rusty, and legitimately worse than a player base that had passed me by, in terms of skill. Still, when you see people powered up with advantages you know you'll never unlock, the prospect of climbing that hill feels futile.

It's really not that short if you thoroughly explore and do optional missions. "Exploration" isn't everyone's preferred play-style, I get it. The optional missions though... you should absolutely do those because they're every bit as good as the main story missions.

Peterson says some nutty things and then links to people on reddit explaining what he really meant, which is... bizarre to say the least.

I've noticed this too... not reddit specifically, but having to explain certain phrases after the fact, like when he linked to a blog to clarify "enforced monogamy."

Two possible explanations:
1. Peterson's rise as a celebrity intellectual has been so abrupt that maybe he legitimately doesn't know what he's doing in interviews. He uses niche academic terms which a well-researched interviewer should understand but which a majority of the audience wouldn't.

2. Peterson is deliberately setting traps with his word choice.

I don't know which it is, tbh, but I give him the benefit of the doubt for now. I lean towards possibility #1 because he's demonstrated a willingness (during interviews) to explore topics he hasn't fully thought out and ask questions he doesn't know the answers to. For example, his comments on makeup in the workplace were half-baked but he stumbled into something interesting and worth discussing, imo. I don't get the sense that he's two steps ahead of everyone or that he's carefully masterminded each of the controversies surrounding him.

I've never met someone who was born with probabilistic intuition, personally; that has to be learned. To the uninitiated, certain solutions to problems in probability seem counter-intuitive. Also, keep in mind that a "paradox" doesn't necessarily have to be strictly contradictory, it just has to have the appearance of being illogical or absurd.
