I had a Gamefaqs account from 2000 called 'BADASSGAMER', i remember CjayC, Random Instanity, LUE, the character battle poll tournaments. i remember the days i couldn't wait to get home from school just to see if Mario beat Sonic, ah the memories. Tbh i would probably change the name though if i still had that account.

It was around 2004 ish when i started college, that i stopped gaming completely, i thought it was time to grow out of it, i gave my account to some random user via MSN messenger, must have sold any consoles i had, 'moving on', hah.

Then fast forward to around 2015 that i started gaming again, there were so many great games out at the time and PS4 was well under way in the eighth gen, i realised that gaming is something i enjoy, so why not get back into it at such a great time.

Now i'm at the stage where i play like one or two single player games a year, usually one big open world 40h+ and a shorter linear game around at 15h, rest of the time i'm just playing mulitplayer games for about 10-15h a week, whenever i get some spare time. But i find myself following games more rather than playing them, i like to find out about upcoming games, sometimes watch lets plays, spend time on forums etc.

Kinda regret giving that account away though, would have been cool to still have it.

No cuz I always want the option to come back. That's like erasing your porn collection cuz you got with your dream girl, but then she breaks up with you 2 years later and when you try to find your old favorites again, the hub got rid of 11 million videos and now you're out of luck. Just shove your porn collection in a flash drive and leave it in the corner of your closet for the future just in case, bro >_>

Until it gets purged. Videos can go down at any time for any reason. Always save your favorites! There's a video I still cant find after the Great Purge of 2020 and I regret my life every single day for not saving it
