This conversation is about the Chinese Government having direct control of an app that millions of Americans are currently using. They will exploit and abuse the information they are gathering. Whistleblowers have already come forward to warn us about this. Banning the app is the correct thing to do until they sever all ties to the CCP.

I'm sure those anti Muslim, pro patriotic U.S. movies after 9/11 didn't want violence towards Muslims too. It's about Muslim governments not Muslim people!

There's no information you can get from TikTok that you can't get elsewhere - and you're going to need to go to better resources to actually get any details on stuff anyway. It's cool if TikTok exposed you to new information, but you could have just as easily gotten that information on Twitter, Youtube, or Wikipedia, just to name a few.

Getting that type of same content anywhere else is like winning the lotto. The uploader needs to either have hundreds of thousands of followers already to or by some miracle it goes viral in order to get views. Tiktok you upload anything that's worth going viral for like racist saying and doing racist things or breaking news, you see it within hours or within 1 day and it goes viral even if people have less than 20 followers and a few videos with less than 100 likes

Racists, politicians doing corrupt things, famous people, non famous people doing things they aren't supposed to will fucking love this ban. This app exposes them all. I wouldn't have learned about a lot of these scum if it weren't for Tikok. It's not social engineering, safety or other excuses people come up with, it's about information suppression. Hopefully Tiktok finds away to exist some how for years to come. Those who think the app is just dances and challenges are clueless and exactly what politicians love, clueless people reacting to government sponsored misinformation

I only like two songs of her meh album so far they're on the same quality as her older albums. Some disclaimer, I just want to say I judge songs based on how they sound not lyrics. Some people say her lyrics are terrible this album but that's not a deal breaker for me

I can't help but think negatively about him now due to the gambling thing.

To eating microwaved frozen vegetables? I imagine it would be cheaper to buy and cook fresh non frozen vegetables but I know I will mess up the vegetables some how. I also remember reading people microwave potatoes. That's weird to me like microwaving raw meat

When Taco Bell changed their menu like 4-5 years ago their food sucked but with this burrito and sauce (Avocado verde salsa) it taste like crack. I never had crack but I'd imagine it's addictive like that burrito

Going from cheap crap to hearing music and other sounds with high quality audio is like going from watching TV on a old tube TV to watching 1080p+ TV. Huge difference.

This really isn't related to this topic but I just want to say it makes me angry how people say Apple air pods and other expensive, bad quality head/earphones like beats or other bad crap are good.

I use Sennheiser HD 650 headphones with an amp and DAC and music and other sounds sound like heaven. I was actually shocked how when I first heard music on that set up. It's less than a $500 set up that will last decades. Probably only gotta replace the ear pads every few years. I suggest those who never invested much in their audio set up of any kind whether it's on PC, phone or dedicated music player to do it. Do research on this stuff, it's life changing
