I have faint memories of being lined up in the elementary school auditorium. When we got to a woman at a desk, she grabbed each finger one by one and rolled it on an ink pad then on a piece of paper. I didn't know what was going on or if that's in any type of file, but it's weird to think about now.

I recall having to do that too way back then. The only other thing I can recall was giving a thumb print for something or other years ago.

I had my Gallbladder out when I was 12 years old. I was freakishly young for it. I remember it hurt pretty damn bad but because I was so young it's a bit of a faded memory, I imagine it would have been the worst.

The worst I can fully remember was a spinal tap by a doctor who couldn't find the mark. Fucker must have jabbed me about a dozen times. I was practically unconscious by the time he found the spot he was looking for. I couldn't stand up straight for a week.

As a guy I also have to mention the ever dreaded zipper accident. That was not fun.

It's one of things I can say was better for me in my childhood than what kids have now. I remember being out for hours until the lights went out. Walking all over town with my best friend and then staying over at his house or him staying at mine.

Of course there was also something to be said for grabbing a couple bags of candy and chips and a case of soda and just chilling out with your friends and playing video games all night and not having to go out.

It's slightly surprising at this point that none of the judges have put him in jail over this yet. I get why they're trying not to but it's literally the only way to stop this.

I think a big part of it is that some feel he wants to go to jail for publicity. He knows he won't be put in with others, he'll be safe and by himself with Secret Service watching over him. Him being jailed for contempt would just feed into his narrative of being a martyr for speaking the 'truth". We also know there is a sizeable portion of his Chud army that are eager and prone to violence, so it won't take much to set a few of the looney ones off.

It sucks that this shitbag gets this treatment, but unfortunately he is a special case.

He's clearly not a mastermind because he wouldnt be in the messes he's currently in, and he would have been smart enough to know that running for President was stupid because of the spotlight it brings. His success has been through luck really and a basic understanding that white collar crime is not prioritized.

I'm not a poker expert but I think it would probably be akin to the kind of strategy deployed by the guy going All in repeatedly, just daring someone to call his bull shit.

Him winning his election was also a fluke. He ran for publicity not to win. Hindsight 20/20, he unfortunately ran against the one person he could beat. Hillary had been the victim of a nearly 2 decade concentrated smear campaign ran on her by Right, and Trump was such a raging buffoon too many Independants and disillusioned leftists thought she had this in the bag so they wouldn't hold their nose and vote for her. He bumblefucked his way into office.

I've had 3 out, the 4th just never came in.

1 was pulled straight out but it was a struggle. A lot of yanking and pulling. The recovery sucked, they gave me bad advice on mixing prescription Lortab and Extra strength Tylenol and I wasn't smart enough to ask questions. I ended sitting in the bathroom at 3 am trying to throw up something in my stomach that wasn't there because I had vomited so much. I actually questioned if I wanted to live for a bit while that was happening.

The 2nd the Dentist just straight up broke it into pieces and pulled them out. He was done in about 5 minutes it seemed. It sucked hearing my tooth being broken to pieces inside my head, but it was the most pain free and easiest recovery of any of them. I think I had to use Advil once or twice.

The 3rd one was really messed up, the root had grown a J shaped curve and hooked around a nerve so I had to go to a specialist oral surgeon have it removed because if they f'd it up it could have paralyzed part of my lip. The recovery was fairly straight forward. A bit sore for a few days but, I got through it.

None of them were full sedation, all local anesthetics.

I'm on it for long term mild depression. I've found if I take it after dinner it works best for me. I tried it in the morning on an empty stomach and had horrible cramps. Then I was told that was wrong and to take it at dinner after eating. That stopped the stomach cramps. No insomnia, but then I'm taking it several hours before I try sleeping anyway.

I have been thinking about seeing if I can add something for anxiety because I've been noticing an uptick in anxiety lately, but frankly that is likely me reading too many news stories about how screwed everything is.

Exactly she definitely didn't want it and I fully believe neither did Trump. He did it for publicity and likely was expecting to lose the primaries and he would claim he was cheated somehow and grift money and attention off of it for years. Melania was happy being a trophy wife living the highlife, she didn't want thr 24/7 attention and scrutiny. People talk about Trump's affairs, there's no way in hell she wasn't getting some on the side. The rumor was Barron's tutor if I recall.

Trump himself knows his businesses are crooked to the bone with half assed methods of covering the misdeeds. Winning the primaries and then the Presidency would be a super microscope on everything you do and did. He unfortunately tapped into something and ran against a bunch of clowns in the Republican primary, then faced off against the one person he could beat.

I hope he, his adult children and his businesses get wrecked by all these trials. I hope he gets sequestered away in some obscure hole where he's cut off from the outside world. Even if it's some ranch or private property where he can't communicate with the outside world it would be a huge win.

K-mart was the go to store in my area as a kid. The shift started when Wal-mart came to my town in 1984. After the initial couple years K-mart still was open but many many people had already shifted towards Wal-mart. That K-mart actually made it until 2017 before they closed but to me honest it was pretty much a ghost store even in the 90s. I visited it in 99 when I got home from the military and couldnt even see why it was still open.

But man in the early 80s that store was the absolute go to spot in our area.

I've got similar memories. KMart was the place to go for a long time and then as you said Walmart became a thing and ran it out of relevancy pretty quick. I remember the little Cafe in there, also going to the toys section to check out the G.I. Joe's.
