I get 160 hours of PTO and then 3 floating Holidays every year. No roll over though. Also we have a cut-off of early November to use it. Christmas is off every year.

I would like a gaming pc, but the reality is that I really only want it so I can play games with mods(single player). I also don't play a ton of games either, so I can't justify paying for one just so I can play Red Dead 2 with mods.

Nope. I don't have any blocked but I've got 24 on ignore and I'm not taking them off. I don't put someone on ignore just for one post, I use that for posters with a clear pattern of trolling, racism or other vile behavior.

I deal with enough crap on the daily, in addition to the constant flow of terrible information about the state of the world from the news. I don't need a troll/chud blatently pulling down their pants and shitting in the topics I'm trying to look through.

This might have sold me. I find most Christmas music more annoying than Nickelback. I don't watch movies on the regular anyway so not a huge problem there, I can turn off music in games. I think the biggest issue is I mostly watch YouTube, that would be the biggest pain point.

How bad will the outcry from the incel crowd be if the female is the more alpha of the two characters? This is supposed to be a Bonnie and Clyde type couple. If she's the more dominant one hold on to your popcorn bucket it'll get wild.

It was bullshit from the start. Look up 2257 laws on producing and selling porn. The company that sold the video would have to keep strict records on age verification on everyone in the tape. Without that it can't be released and if I recall there was talk of going after companies that didn't comply and charging them with selling child porn even if it was clearly an adult on film.

So the Kardashian story of it was stolen and having no choice but to sell the rights was bullshit. If she wouldn't sign off nothing can be done with it legally to profit off of it. This was a major porn producer, not some shit being run out of a basement.

yep, i just checked in with them and they immediately just ordered me a new one and said to pick it up from UPS instead of having it shipped, which was nice of them. Im just hoping they have some access to a supply and i dont have to wait a month+ to get it

Good to hear you got a quick and easy resolution. That's pretty similar to a story I heard from a streamer who ordered a steam deck. It was marked delivered and signed, they didn't get it and they called support who just set one for pickup at a carrier facility. It sucks to have to go pick it up, but all in all it's still far easier than some of the hoops I've seen people put through due to carrier shenanigans.

Sounds about right. I really recommend checking in with the support team where you purchased, they'll have a protocol in place for lost packages. Can't say I know what it is because I don't work for T-mobile/Sprint but I'm sure they'll have a process.

I also dont think it was the front desk lady cause...well, shes really nice, and there are like 100 cameras on her at all times. Im going to ask management if they can look at the cameras to see anything but my best guess is someone just swiped it off the truck when the dude was parked

I deal in online retail, these carriers are insane. I've seen stuff marked as delivered and then 3 days later it shows up and the online tracking was changed to show the right information. It's possible it wasn't even on the truck at all.

My favorite of their shitty moves was when the Pandemic started they just decided to not activate tracking, just take the shit work through the delivery process and never update the online tracking until they delivered. Packages would show label created for days and then suddenly it's delivered. I really hate them all and wish my Aunt was still an executive with UPS because God damn I'd have an earful of shit to tell her how they're fucking up. FedEx and Purolator somehow manage to be even worse.

Im starting to think this is what happened because of the update that just happened.

I got all hyped reading all this stuff and finding the UPS driver on foot and everything and the only explanation was pretty much that the front desk lady had to of taken it. So i went down to ask her about it and to possibly ask to speak to management or something.

Front desk lady then tells me that she didnt sign for anything today. The UPS driver knows her name, so she said its possible he signed it for her...which sounds like it could be what happened. I opened a claim on UPS about it so hopefully ill be able to see the actual signature

You should also call the support for the place you ordered it from and ask them to file a claim or research the issue. This way they have a claim from both the sender and the recipient.

It might be the end of the world. There would be a mass epidemic of Sony Fanboys spontaneously combusting which would in turn speed up global warming and doom us all.

I already live in Florida where it feels like we're 100 feet from the sun. I don't feel like moving to Death Valley.

I shop at Amazon and or digitally now, but I still sometimes feel need for a brick and mortar store because I worry about electronics getting damaged during shipping and overheating in hot climates.

That's my concern about brick and mortar stores struggling. If I need a new TV I want to go in and see what it looks like and what the picture looks like before I buy it. I also want to be able to pick it up and go home and have an option for a quick return if need be.

Sweet Jesus, that sounds like it would hurt so bad.

My veins are very squiggly and small so it can be a pain to get blood drawn. I have to make sure to hydrate really well before I go have it done. Otherwise it's hide and seek time when it comes to finding the spot.

I've had them get it from my hand and it was a lovely sting.

I haven't got that but I was getting hammered with DeSantis ads nonstop. I kept reporting them as inappropriate and then finally customized my Google ad settings to lay off the political ads. I still get a few that are paid ads that can't be skipped.

I did step out of the box and go with a Chicken Parmesan variant at a new place recently and was very happy I did, it was great.

If I'm alone, I enjoy it especially later when the roads aren't busy.

If I'm in the car with either my Brother or Step Father who are back seat drivers, or my Mother who is super fidgety and can't go five minutes without a cold drink then I'm stressed as all get out.

I think it depends on the location. My local one is kinda eh. But I've been to others that are awesome.

Northern Illinois to Central Florida, twice. Once we were in a Uhaul and took 3 days taking our time and because of a late start on day one. The second time no uhaul, straight through only stopping for gas, food and bathroom, 23 hours. Won't do that again, it sucked.

I wish they would go back to how they were with Smackdown vs Raw 2006-2007. Loved those games.

Anthem. That was one that a group of us at work were all hyped for and one we all planned on getting to play as a group. One of the guys got early access and warned us after playing, I backed off in a hold pattern and a few other still got it but were very disappointed with it.

I liked it, I gave up on it in later seasons though. Just my opinion, but I think it's a show that stuck around too long.

6. I grew up in Illinois and went to Iowa and Wisconsin frequently. I visited Minnesota once and had a vacation in St. Louis, MO with some family. Technically Indiana but that was just a quick drive though.
