I used to be one, so I may be biased. But it's not a problem unless

A.) It negatively impacts those around you (trying to get a younger sibling/family member/friend hooked, puts family or roommates at risk by having illicit substances in their residence, etc.)

B.) It interferes with your daily life and responsibilities (you stop cleaning, you stop doing homework, miss work, etc.)

C.) You're dumb enough to get caught by legal authorities.

Any or all of these three situations are indicators that the person has a problem. Otherwise, if these three situations are avoided, then I personally see no problem.

I am talking about the ones that use the lane that is about to close due to construction and then keep pace with the lane that you have to merge into before the lane closes. It slows down EVERYONE on the highway and backs it up further than it needs to. Especially when they do this at 2 miles before the lane closes.

The worst

Although what pisses me off more is how road construction will close like 5 miles in advance of work that is being done on like a quarter of a mile's worth of road. There are times that one lane of a two lane highway will be closed, and I'll look over at the closed lane on the other side of the forsaken orange cones, just to see a totally fine and usable lane for miles.

When I was learning to drive, my dad always said to me, "the most dangerous place on the road is around other cars." To this day, it never ceases to surprise me how accurate that statement was/is.

For me, it's people who try to do the "quick slip-in" when there's a backed up exit. A prime example up here in Minnesota is on the 394 --> 94 ramp. I drew a crude map below:



The blue line represents the right lane of a 3-lane portion of 394-E right before the exit to 94-E. This right lane, outside of like 2AM, is always, always always backed up. Unless you have an out-of-state license plate, you have no reason NOT to know this. The blue line represents this backup on the ramp to 94-E.

The first white line represents the far left lane, which is what you take if you want to stay on 394-E.

The first yellow line represents the exit, where if you're in the right lane, you'll get forced onto the 94-E exit, or if you're in the middle/left lane, you'll continue onto 394-E.

Now, the part that pisses me off most is the dotted red lines. These red lines represent the assholes who intentionally bypass the backup and make a dangerous lane change in bumper-to-bumper traffic in that backed up right lane. Sometimes, if they can't get in, they'll just come to a complete stop in the middle lane, which is extremely dangerous for the traffic that wants to continue onto 394-E. These fuckers think they're so much better than everyone else, but they don't realize that they're part of the problem. Even worse, all it takes is one fender-bender accident to make traffic exponentially worse while they're pulled over exchanging information.

These people are the god damned worst people in the world. It's glorified cutting in line and they know it.

I wouldn't worry about Mariota. I have him in all 3 leagues and am starting with confidence. It was the ineptitude of the Houston offense that made the Jags' D look like the '85 Bears. I'm not saying their defense is as awful as their recent records would suggest, but they are definitely a lot worse than their performance last week made them look.

Going back to Symphonia after growing accustomed to Free Run can take some time

Highly recommend finishing it though, I'd say it's my top 1-2 Tales game (up between that and Vesperia)

Eh, they really didn't look that good. Though I have considered that I may be jumping the gun. They didn't get beat down too bad though, considering how much the offense was floundering. The Giants offense is probably the biggest reason I'm looking to grab a different defense. If last night is any indicator, they're going to make the defense get overworked every game.

I wouldn't panic just yet.

I think the Giants' D's worst enemy is their offense <__<

Our division has been fairly trashy. Colts just pray to Luck and Tennessee has been trying to build something, same with the Jags. Texans have had a couple good defensive guys drafted and rode them as much as possible and haven't been able to do anything at building an offense. They'll have one, maybe two pieces of a decent offense, then squander it.

Yeah, the division really is horrendous. Seems like it should be the Titans' year. I watched the TEN vs OAK game (since the Chiefs already played) and they looked a bit off. Their drives were really weird, like they would get 1 yard on 1st down, 1 yard on 2nd down, and then convert on 3rd and long like 6 times. They did flash some good plays, but also some what the fuck moments (like opening the game with an onside kick). OAK got a few flukey plays.

Yeah that is always the worst, and looking at the scores that might happen to me lol.

I need Dalvin Cook and Melvin Gordon to score ~34 points total in order to win this week.

I could also swap in Steffon Diggs for Cook.

I'm not a fantasy guru by any means, but considering the situation, I probably would put in Diggs over Cook for a few reasons:

1.) Playing against the Saints. We know they have a high powered offense. If the Vikings fall behind, the run game will disappear while they pass to catch up. That's not to say Dalvin won't get involved in the passing game, but I think it fares better for Diggs. Dalvin also has Murray to worry about (and I guess McKinnon), whereas Diggs should be on the field for damn-near every snap.

2.) Offensive line is awful. I know this negatively impacts both players, but I think it affects Cook more than it does Diggs.

3.) You're down by 34 with 2 players. Given the score deficit, you need more "boom" potential, as opposed to a safe floor. I would safely assume that Cook should be able to get at least 10-12 points. Which would leave you down 24-22. That puts a lot of pressure on Gordon to fill the difference. And don't forget, the Chargers are playing the Broncos (great defense) IN Denver. Diggs has a low floor, with potential to get 3 catches for 22 yards. But he also has potential to fly open with 9 catches / 120 yards / a TD or two.

Either way, it's not a great outlook. But those are just my three cents, with cent #3 being my biggest bargaining point.

I feel so bad for my opponent this week in my work league.

So I'm "Kareem of the Crop" and I have the highest point total of the week (for obvious reasons, considering my team name). My opponent has 89 with CJ Anderson to go. Nobody else is going to score higher than her (unless McAdoo's team goes off).

She would have beaten ANYONE else, and yet she got stuck against me.

That's one of the biggest middle fingers in fantasy football

(Also Jeremy's Choice Team has clearly forgotten about the league already - still has ajayi and cameron meredith plugged in - good thing money was collected pre-draft)
