Curse of the Golden Idol would probably sneak into the 90's. I'd also move some games quite a bit, in retrospect. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate should probably be like 7th. Maybe just switch places with Persona 4 Golden. Played the remaster of Shadow of the Colossus and it probably deserves to get bumped up about 10 spots. SSX3 shouldn't be on the list, Tricky should take that spot instead. And Outer Wilds is my new #1. AJ gets a bad rap, but at least it's memorable and has decent characters even though almost none of them are defendants. After the Shih-na->Yew transformation into the standoff with Badd period of like 10 minutes, what's the second-most standout moment in the game? I really can't come up with a good one. Edgeworth diving out of the way of a gunshot? Kay blowing her nose in his cravat? Lang revealing that his accusation of Franny was a ruse? I legitimately think it's when LeBlanc falls over the railing of the storage room in slow-motion. When Gina brought up the body falling on the floor, I immediately thought that wouldn't make sense because the only blood in the vehicle was on the seat. One of them is your armband and one is a town map. The idea for the story is beautiful, and if it were implemented well, would lead to one of my favorite games ever. But my god, if the main character wasn't one of the most insufferable pieces of self-insert shit I've ever had the displeasure of controlling. The story's supposed to be about the dying guy, not the obnoxious memelord. Stay quiet and let me enjoy the feels goddammit. That said, it hit extra hard for me because I was checking that cart a lot over the course of the trial, and I noticed the new blood on the floor and the empty underbin before the game pointed out that those things had changed, and I was so confused. Like, I specifically remembered there was no blood on the floor, and when they started talking about the body falling on the floor, I was like "that can't be right, there'd be a big pool of blood there" and then I looked and there was. I kinda thought I was losing my mind. I was enamored with the final half hour of that trial. I was so fucking into it, just leaning forward in my chair with the biggest grin on my face. It plays against the AA fan's expectations so well. Sholmes had me rolling the entire fucking time. The one point in particular when the three guys all corner you and Naruhodo keeps saying internally "There's gotta be a savior for me in here somewhere". And then you pan the camera over to look to the left and he's hanging from the coat hook made me stop and laugh for a solid minute. Then the whole schtick where he kept taking off and putting back on the handcuffs was really good, too.
