Well, FCS has had a 24 team playoff for years now, and they start right after the end of the regular season. So they never cared for the kids who don't make money, so no reason to pretend that they care about the kids who do make money.

Auron's age in the story kept changing during the design phase, to the point Character Designer Tetsuya Nomura ended up confused over what age he was and thus Auron ended up looking older than his 35 years would suggest. Scenario Writer Kazushige Nojima has said this probably happened because they were too used to having Nomura decide the characters' ages.

Wasn't EarthBound Beginnings near the top of the Wii U eShop best seller list? Of course, it was the Wii U, so it doesn't mean much, but it seems like it did well by Wii U standards, at least.

S/V are a good template. If GF can build off it while fixing their performance issues (and not taking two steps backwards in other departments), the next games could be truly amazing.

We're talking about Game Freak here. They're going to ditch everything people liked about SV while keeping the parts people hated.

I think the Ravens are just too young right now. When we had Brady they were the only team that struck fear in us during the playoffs. They were the only team that didn't have that mental block when playing us and always played tough. Give the Ravens another year or two, once they get more discipline on the offensive side I truly believe Lamar Jackson can get multiple SBs.

I think that was all Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. They were the ones keeping everyone together during Flacco's playoff runs. And unless we find a way to reverse aging, Lewis and Reed aren't coming back to help this Ravens team.

I'm sure the Cheat Engine can help with that once it's on PC.

To be fair, the Browns actually deserve it after the whole Watson affair.

There's one big reason why nobody used Drifblim, and that's because it was an evolution of a Pokemon that you could only find on Fridays in an area you had no reason to revisit (and the best part is if you cleared it on a Friday, Drifloon won't even show up until the next Friday). By the time that Drifloon actually showed it, it was so underleveled that you'd have to make a concerted effort to actually use it.

It also kinda helps that you get Garchomp at the second lowest level of any pseudo, and Gabite is rare for a middle stage pseudo in that it actually has decent enough stats where it isn't a drag on the team until it fully evolves.

They had three timeouts from the getgo. I don't know if they would've gotten 3 more had it gone to triple overtime, but I'd assume so with how they kept saying "It's a new game."

Isn't that always the case with Australian Survivor? From what I've heard, it's always edited terribly, to a point where I'm surprised they don't get crucified for it like US Survivor would if they did anything close to that.

Yeah, the only difference between soccer and football with ads is that football ads are loud and in your face. Soccer ads are subtle, but they're always visible.

And there's nothing in Ultimate that comes even half as close as the hype of Snake in Brawl, or even Sonic for that matter. No amount of the Ridley and K Rool memes can come close.

Ultimate's roster is so big that last time I played it at my friend's place, I was lamenting to him that they missed out on adding Sora to the game. Then he was like "uh they did" and sure enough there he was on the select screen. I lost track of all the DLCs and reveals a long time before that I guess.

Bringing everyone back sure did bring the hype, especially since nobody thought Snake would ever return (and Cloud was pretty iffy too).

I think that might be a case of Cloud getting his stories mixed up. Crisis Core showed that the gap between Zack and Sephiroth wasn't that big, but Cloud is probably remembering himself as a Shinra grunt powerwise but as a SOLDIER.

I feel like VIII was more of a small world with a few really big areas (Balamb Garden, Deling City, Esthar) than a really big world. It kinda shares the same issue as IX where there's only a few really big important places and everywhere else is fairly sparsely populated.

Honestly, Wooper makes sense over Marill since Marill and Togepi would've meant that both games gave you a Fairy type.

That feels like an overcorrection from how easy it was to break 7 and 8 with their multihit attacks.

I'm hoping that was just a case of terrible direction in the Crisis Core remake, because I don't think he was that bad in Remake.

All of the returning characters in AJ got done dirty except for the judge (yes, even Gumshoe in his small cameo. I'm still disappointed that it's his last appearance in the series chronologicaly.)

It seems to be a trend in this series where the prosecutor in the odd numbered games is great and the prosecutor in the even numbered games isn't. Probably a good thing that GAA stuck with Van Zieks in the second game.
