I don't care how obvious a boot is. The Jess episode was great because of Jess. Last week was fun except for the ending. This episode is great because it's actually making me feel something. Yes, it's sad, but I much prefer feeling emotions to watching gamebots calculate data. I agree, but I think it was just too much with the 90 minute runtime (and Bhanu basically getting two boot episodes). You cannot possibly apply a standard of 'bad' to Lanturn that doesn't apply to all but about 5 Pokemon you can reasonably catch in the game - like what aside from Espeon would even be 'not bad' in your estimation at that point Most Johto Pokemon are bad! And Tika wasn't really that bad, even after losing their strongest member to a fluke injury in the first challenge.
