As somebody who isn't interested or knows anything about custom keycaps, why exactly is the wait time at least a year?

GMK is an extremely popular manufacturer in the custom mechanical keyboard scene. Between covid messing things up and the fact that there's a lot of GMK group buys each month for different custom keycap sets, production is backed way up. It's pretty much a meme in the community that you'll be waiting an eternity for your GMK set these days.

That's cool, we don't really have lizards in my area. I did enjoy seeing them on trees and stuff when I traveled to Florida, though.

Edit: Oh, I was wrong. We do have some lizards out there, but I have never seen one in my state personally.

Yeah, I'm 30 and they had then on often enough when I was a kid. I haven't seen them on for about 10-15 years, though, so it wouldn't surprise me if kids these days don't really know them.

Ah, I really hope they don't cancel. I'd be OK with paying normal price as long as I get one, but if they honor this that would be awesome. I rather doubt they will, though.

It's not just the act of scalping, it's the bots.

This, scalping aways sucked, but there used to be a decent chance of getting something if you knew when it dropped. Now it's basically impossible unless you use a bot.
