Doesn't really come up, I have most of the businesses, doctors, etc. that I use saved in my phone so I don't have to look them up? And if I get a missed call from a local number that might be important I'll call back, sure. But at least 50% of my incoming calls are bullshit spam. Having voicemail would just lead to more bullshit.

Typically the purpose of a call is a conversation, no? Anything they could say in a voicemail they can say in a text message.
