Reptar isnt trained. Hes still very much a work in progress. We just started leave it and drop it and down. He also just went to the dog park for the first time yesterday. Absolutely loved it. Got along great with the other dogs.

Also, to clarify, when I say front yard I mean California front yard. A patch of grass about fifteen by fifteen feet. Nothing big. Right off the sidewalk, which is right off the street.

Also, most peoples grass in the neighborhood is completely dead, because of the drought. This is one of maybe four houses with living grass. My house has wood chips and he hates walking on them, let alone peeing on them. We have dirt in the backyard, he likes that and usually does his business there. I always bring bags but he has pooped on walks maybe four times. Its usually just pee, and even then I feel like its mostly pee on where other dogs have peed pee.

I do, actually. Or else I wouldnt be asking this question. I didnt think it was an issue to have a dog pee on a lawn. I have never heard anybody get mad about that in my life. I respect her not wanting that to happen, and I do not plan on doing it again. I was not a fan of how she spoke to me, because another person would have come back at her hostility with more hostility.

If I didnt care Id keep letting my dog piss there and Id do it also.

There are tons of dogs in my neighborhood so my dog likes to go everywhere. Lots of peoples lawns, trees, bushes, etc. I dont let him go on poles or mailboxes because I figure people touch those.

His leash started pounding on her window going DONT DO THAT and I was like what? And she was like NOT ON MY LAWN GET THAT DOG OFF MY LAWN and I was like hes just peeing and she was like I DONT CARE and I was like I always pick up his poop and I showed her the bags and she was like GET OUT OF HERE and I said youre not very nice and walked away.

Now obviously I respect the fact that its her property, and if she doesnt want my dog on her lawn thats fine. The way she went about it by yelling at me is what made me have anything to say back. Id have just been like oh Im sorry wont happen again if she had spoken to me like a normal person.

But is it rude to let your dog pee on somebodys grass? Isnt that where theyre supposed to go? Pee is fine, just pick up their shit?
