I wonder if my PS4 can make it through it on its last legs. It already surprised me by managing TLOU2. I might have to buy this day 1, it just looks too awesome.
I've taken to using one of the USB ports to run a small desk fan round the back of my Pro whenever I'm playing a graphically intense game.

Really excited for this game though, looks amazing.

In what way is this a "big spectacle"? He's not getting dragged through the streets having people yell "Shame!" at him. Nor is he being tried and prosecuted; he was arrested and hopefully learned his lesson from that experience.

Also regarding it being just "some dumb comments"; I implore you to actually look at Zaha's Twitter as it wasn't limited to the screenshot in the article in the OP.

The images can still be seen on Wilfried Zaha's Twitter (not linking because they're uncensored). It's disgusting stuff so arresting the kid will hopefully be sufficiently scary to make him rethink how he acts in future.

This is exactly why I like WD2 so much more than the first one.
It was actually the one aspect I disliked. I enjoyed the game overall but it was so jarring having this group of young, carefree hackers seemingly go from printing out slogans on t-shirts and spray painting DedSec logos on walls to happily gunning down dozens of people right from the start of the game. It felt that disjointed I actually went through almost the whole game taking down people only using Marcus' yo-yo thing, never once printed out any weapons or anything.

It was decently fun when it was at its best and the setting and art direction were cool, but there was a fair bit of jank and some of the quest design was atrocious. Literally get sent somewhere only to arrive and your character says they don't know how to solve the problem, better go back and talk to the person who gave you the quest! Oh, and then go back to actually do the task. And then go back to the quest giver again to turn it in. Backtracking at its absolute worst.

That said I did finish it with the most complete ending, but I don't think I could go back to it and would only recommend picking it up if you really like the genre and it has a heavy discount.

Just read this in the BBC article on the topic:

The Minnesota police handbook states that officers trained on how to compress the neck without applying direct pressure to the airway can use a knee under its use-of-force policy. This is regarded as a non-deadly-force option.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52817097

That's ridiculous. I'm assuming if that scumbag has been fired it's already been decided that he's breached the rules*. Sincerely hope he isn't able to use that as a defence.

*Massive understatement, but you know what I mean.

the shield and punching combat in the game are really satisfying.

there are times that I didn't retrieve the axe just so I could punch and shield bash the hell out of enemies.
You can put your axe away by pressing right on the d-pad, don't even need to throw it.

Its a minor touch but I like how someone will be talking while riding in the boat and if you moor it theyll have a fluid segue. And then when you get in the boat again theres a fluid dialog to start where they left off.
Yeah, that was something I think I first saw in Uncharted 4 and wondered why games hadn't been doing that all along. I think God of War takes it a step further though because Uncharted 4 was along the lines of "...what was I saying? Oh yeah. [Begin dialogue line again]" whereas GoW I noticed would be "So, I was just telling you the story about X and Y..."

Almost entirely PVE. There was a PVP element but I'd be surprised if it's still active.

I was thinking about this! I played it some by myself and had a good time so I'll look into it.
May vary depending on where you're from, but The Division 2 is currently in the Spring PSN sale for 7.99 so definitely a good time to try it. I'd also recommend Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint, also on sale, if you're into that genre.

Nah, Moze is great. Probably my favourite out of 3's vault hunters so far (hit the level cap with her and Amara, reached early 20's with Zane before deciding I didn't really like him*).

In answer to the topic though, it is definitely worth it. Gameplay mechanics are the best in the series, although movement can feel a bit weighty if you're coming straight in to it from the previous games, but it's let down by the story and the new characters.

* Admittedly I might just be burnt out after playing the game so much lately.

Bigkablamm posted... That's good to hear. FL4K was the most interesting VH from previews I've seen. But that's disappointing about the other VH. Does Amara round out well? And that's not surprising about Moze. She's basically a DVA ripoff which always seemed boring.

My co-op partner's playing as FL4K and seems to be enjoying it, although he struggled a little early game while he was working out which pets were actually worth using. I'm not sure how Amara's supposed to be bad solo as she's been solid for me all the way through.

A friend and I fall under vulnerable categories and got put on special leave, so we're replaying the Borderlands series in co-op. Borderlands 1 is done and we're just rounding up the last of the Pre-Sequel DLC, then it's off to the Holy Grail of Borderlands 2.

I also reinstalled Rocket League so I've got something quick to have a blast on, and there's always Civ 6 for those really long days.

One of the previous Soulcalibur games had an achievement for pressing Start at the title screen which always amused me. I wonder if that was so you couldn't decide you didn't care for it all that much and delete it from your history so people would crack on and keep playing until they had a decent score.

I did enjoy it, but it definitely lacked a decent level of polish. Some of the quests were annoying shuttle runs that needed better planning, too. I swear there were two that triggered back-to-back which required you to talk to a specific character, going down to the archives to find a document, realising you can't read legalese, talking to a woman who can explain it to you, back to the first character, then off to the quest giver for a resolution. But oh, now there's another problem! Better talk to that guy, then down to the archive...

I very rarely talk to myself when I play games, but that definitely elicited a "oh for fuck's sake" when I realised what was happening.

I was about to say that they definitely brought him back for the new Fawkes ending, but now I'm not so sure; it hasn't been since release that I chose to let Lyons do it instead and I can't remember how the lines spoken in that ending went; so they may have just recycled those lines for the new segment. Either way, it was a last bit of scumminess on Bethesda's part to work in a passive-aggressive dig at the player for choosing the perfectly sensible option of letting Fawkes do it.

Honestly you could be right; I haven't played the game in years so I'm going off memory and Many a True Nerd videos.

I believe they changed that with the Broken Steel DLC, but then forgot/weren't able to bring Ron Perlman back to record new narration for the ending slides.

But yeah, that was fucking stupid. Particularly since he has a go at you for going through an irradiated area yourself instead of sending him when you first encounter him.

Arent they supposed to be borderline savages though?

One question I also had while watching is why Ciris parents arent around. Wasnt it her father that made Geralt her guardian in the game? And wasnt she the princess of an Empire, not a kingdom? Again, I know they followed the books and not the games for the show, but I feel like those are kinda big things to overlook.
They answered that in the show: Pavetta and Duny were on a ship that sunk during a storm. Whether they explore her father's identity in the next season will be interesting.

Also I'm not sure where you got the impression that Nilfgaard were borderline savages from. Highly fanatical yes, but not savages.

I enjoyed the show a lot (enough to watch it all within two days) although it had a few issues that are mostly me nitpicking. Certainly scratched a Witcher itch and I'm looking forward to season 2.
