It's an app you can download that basically works as a middleman for delivery for food places. Basically, they will have places listed on there and their menus, you can pick what food items you want. You do that, pay for your food. Then it goes to the store, they(usually) make it. Then people working for doordash can take the job and drive over there and pick up your food and deliver it to you.

And then doordash takes a large cut of the order itself, gives some(not enough) to the people working under it, then gives the tips that you set to the dashers.

Worst part is, originally, they didn't even give tips to dashers. Just a percentage. Ffs.

So how much more are people paying because they don't feel like driving to the store?

I can only see this being worth it if you have no vehicle or are on your deathbed and can't leave the house.

The thing is so many people don't care. They took the lack of mask requirements for granted and everyone stopped wearing one.

In most states now mask mandates have ended for everyone. Doesn't matter if you're vaccinated or not.

I can only assume the government is trying herd immunity. They're allowing as many people to get it as possible and hope it goes away. But as we know you can get covid multiple times so...what the hell is going on. This isn't a one and done deal like chicken pox.

What we need to be doing is getting ready for the next election. He still has steam. Im really not sure President Biden can pull another victory. It was a little close & these events may have instilled a sense of urgency in former President Trumps following. EVERYONE needs to get involved by the time the next race rolls around to ENSURE that guy (Trump) doesnt get back into the Oval Office. Why not simply dump the trash into an active volcano?
It's a lot more efficient than burning a hundred million gallons of rocket fuel to send up a single dump truck load of trash into space.

That wouldn't work for the same reason why we don't burn all our trash in a more conventional way. It would produce toxic fumes. Plus consider the logistics of hauling the world's trash to an active volcano.

I went to the store after work to get a couple beers. When I got back in my car two chicks were walking from around the side of the store to the front. They were both wearing super short shorts, halter tops and flip flops. I was like it's hot, they can wear what they want.

One kept staring at me then said something to the other and approached my car. I rolled down the window and she asked what I was up to tonight like she knew me. I told her I just got off work and was going to sleep. She asked if I still lived on ******* Street and I was like...wtf? How do you know that? She said everyone knows everyone in ******* and she lives on the next street over. Then she said if I wasn't that tired they can come over for a few minutes since all neighbors should get to know each other. I said I'm good, see ya later and pulled off.

They both were mildly attractive but kind of roached out at the same time, like they were on something. Maybe the beginning stages of meth addiction. I can only conclude they were sex workers or looking to rob me for drug money.

Her plan was to escape in the shuttle and leave the Xeno behind to get blown up. When she goes to the shuttle the Xeno is already there blocking her from entering, so she goes back to stop the self destruct and give herself more time.

She should have just died with the Xeno, but greed and self-preservation are some of the major themes of the series.

Yeah if it was that important to kill this thing she should have went down like the rest of the crew. But then she wouldn't be in the sequels.

So, Ripley sees the remaining crew was killed by the alien. She activates the ship's self destruct sequence and flees with her cat in a box.

She sees the alien, and apparently drops the cat and runs. She then tries to deactivate the self destruct sequence.

So, did she really do this because she didn't have the cat? She'd risk her life and keeping the alien alive to go back for a cat that hated everyone in the movie and ran from them the whole time?

I hope I'm missing something bigger here.

I've parted mine to the right since I was like 12. The only thing that changed is I keep it way shorter now on the sides and leave enough up top to comb.
