no education. i am firmly against college (or at least how they rape you financially) but society has been brainwashed to believe you need to go.

Back in the day it was way easier to get a good job without a degree. My grandfather used to tell me "Just put on a suit and tie and you'll get hired". lol

We need more grunts now than ever to work in warehouses, manufacturing, retail, etc so corporations created a system to keep some people at the bottom forever.

At my job you can't even work your way up unless you have a bachelors. Some of the supervisors/managers who've been there for decades did work their way up from the bottom though with no higher education. One even told me when looking at a supervisor listing, "No way would I qualify for this now".

Times have changed.
