Absolutely hate it. 9 Times out of 10, they dont give a fuck about the culture. They do nothing to contribute and they are quiet when shit pops off. Braids and dreads are simply a culture that people grew up under. So it makes no sense for a white Person in the suburbs to retain any of that culture.

Also I don't understand this. Its not like people are wearing these hairstyles to purposely offend black people or anything malicious, they're just wearing it because they like how it looks. Seems like a waste of energy to get upset about something as small as that.

Eh, I think it depends. I don't have kids, but if I did, I would never hit them for something that was an accident or that they didn't know why it was wrong. I would try to teach them first and if I had to, punish them in other nonviolent ways instead of hitting them.

But I've seen kids who are violent ,disrespectful, don't listen to what anyone tells them, attack their parents and siblings, just generally do whatever they want, etc. At that point, what do you do? I'll admit, I'd probably hit my kid in that situation. No serious injuries of course, but I'd hit them hard enough to put them in their place and show them that they aren't in charge. Then I'd talk to them about their behavior after.

I think the problem with a lot of parents who hit their kids is that they use that as a substitute for talking to their kids. As long as its not overboard, I don't think hitting is too bad as long as you only do it when absolutely necessary and you still talk to your kid about what they did.

I don't know. I don't have kids lol

I had a job like that once. Liked my coworkers, didn't really mind the work at all. Its just the management were a bunch of asshats, everyone hated them. Not all of them, some were cool, but there was a couple few that made it miserable for everyone. I won't get into specifics since that's not the point, but basically yeah, I hated them. The whole time working there I pretty much never let go of anything they did that pissed me off.

Anyway, on the day they let me go, in my head I just wanted to be like "fuck you, you're a bunch of assholes", you know that sort of thing. But I just said "okay thanks for your time" and it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and I stopped caring about the things that made me mad. I don't regret how I handled it.

Also, not really relevant, but fun note about that place; my shift started at 4am, 2 hours before they opened, so with our shift, there had to be a manager there too to unlock the doors and stuff because only the managers have keys. Well one time, they accidentally scheduled a manager who was on vacation to open, so we all waited outside from 4am until like 5:30 when another manager finally showed up and we could get in. The funny part was that this happened again on the same week. And iirc, one of the times was like an important day for the store too lol.

They weigh 3 pounds next excuse?

You're not just carrying the extra weight in general, you're trying to aim a gun steady and hold it while shooting, which will be harder with any more weight. Even if it only makes it a little bit easier to handle your gun, isn't that preferable since you can just carry hand grenades normally, so they're not in the way? And I would imagine they shoot their guns normally than using grenades anyway.

And no need to be snarky dude, come on.

This. Its extra weight.

That's why you learn to aim the launcher in basic instead of spending time throwing them...

My point being grenade launchers don't just pop the grenade out, they shoot with a lot of force and there's no way of adjusting that, at least as far as I know. An arm is easier to work with in general.

You don't continuously throw grenades...

If you needed to throw grenades into multiple places in a short time span, it would still be faster and simpler to throw instead of using a launcher.

I'm not in the military and I've never used a grenade/grenade launcher, but I'd imagine its harder to aim a grenade launcher at the right arc than to simply throw it. And its probably easier/faster to throw grenades then to have to keep loading them into a grenade launcher. And the added weight of the launcher probably isn't good, especially for aiming the guns when using them normally, if we're talking about those underbarrel grenade launchers that is.

Banning guns is impossible, there's too many guns in the country already and trying to take everyones' would create a lot more problems that need solutions before the former is even attempted. It wouldn't be as simple as just passing a law to ban guns.

I get that people are upset about stuff like this and think some sort of solution should be made to try and prevent these types of things, but wanting to ban guns is just a knee jerk reaction that wouldn't really work or be possible.

I think you can get even a pretty good gaming laptop at that price. Try looking up Predator gaming laptops. The ones I've seen have specs like i7-7700 cpu, 16GB ram, GTX 1060-6GB, which would make browsing the internet pretty quick and easy. That's what I'd get if I had that budget, but I'm not much of an expert on computers. Its probably overkill for you if you're not playing too many demanding games and you can probably get one that does what you want just as well but for a cheaper price.

Here's an Amazon link if you wanna take a look at it anyway

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-Helios-GeForce-PH317-51-787B/dp/B073PY18CN/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1518625656&sr=8-4

And I have a friend who got a refurbished laptop last year for about $200 or $300. i5 and an SSD, supposedly its pretty fast and performs well for basic stuff like internet browsing. Not much in the way of gaming though.

I can see why you would do that honestly. When I was a junior in high school, I had a class with a bunch of freshman and the teacher for that class got injured so we had a sub for the rest of the year. The guy was so polite and timid and never yelled at anyone. I remember once, a bunch of kids just kept talking and talking even when he asked them to stop, and he couldn't get on with the lesson for like 10 minutes. I think another student had to yell at them before they finally shut up. I felt bad for the guy, there's so many dick teachers and they were giving shit to the one nice one. No one really liked the actual teacher for that class because she was kind of a bitch at times but she did get everyone to shut up when she wanted.

On the other hand, I think if you're too strict and needlessly being a dick, the kids will just hate you and start disobeying more just because they don't like you. The teachers that got the most respect and had the most well behaved classes were the teachers that came down on shit when they needed to but were otherwise cool and understanding and just got along with the kids. I think that's probably an important thing, if the kids like you.

The one teacher everyone loved was a huge dude who was pretty cool with everyone, but whenever kids fought, he'd pick them both up in each hand by their shirts and take them to the office lol

But I don't know, I'm not a teacher and never would be because fuck dealing with kids

This... drifts away as the series goes on. I honestly think Haruka is at her finest in Y1. Later games kinda make her a little too generic, a little too "girl next door", a little too "too pure for this sinful earth". And yes, that includes her playable stint in Y5.

Personally, I like Haruka in all the games. But yeah, looking back, I agree, she is kind of an innocent goodie two shoes. And she's kinda dopey at times lol but her interactions with Kiryu are always cute and I think she's still likeable, at least if you can tolerate child characters.

There's a scene I like in one of them where Kiryu is at the orphanage, chopping onions or something, and one of the kids runs up and starts yelling to him about something. Then Kiryu almost gets mad but Haruka yells at the kid like "you're not supposed to bother him while he's cooking!" and then she and Kiryu give each other the thumbs up or something like that

Yep. There's a good amount of walking around with Haruka in Yakuza 3 and a really small amount in 2, but I don't think Kiryu walks around the city with her at all in 4, at least during the story. But that's mainly because that game focuses on the other characters more than Kiryu. As for Yakuza 5, I think answering if you get to walk around with her or not is a bit of a spoiler so I won't talk about that one. You get to play as her in Y5 tho
