Bad things - overly expensive; a city of try-hard folks (it's considered a positive if you're a loud asshole); still thrives off pre-internet hype which in actuality dissipated a while back; basically takes the cake of being a political echo-chamber on either side of the aisle; the touristy shit actually doesn't take a lot of time to do considering how fucking big the city is; crime in general. --- I am basically am I. I remember when Time Square was filled with hookers, drug dealers, sex shows, and porn shops. And how Brooklyn and Queens where before they got gentrified. It's very different now, safer for sure, but now how it was back in the day. But I move away from there a dozen years ago and would never live around that city again. I still go back to visit friends and family but have no interest in that metro area as a place to live in anymore. Super high cost of living, crappy weather, high stress level and weed is not legal?
