It's a decent income but it's not "a lot" unless you live in the middle of nowhere and/or are single.

Or more like making that much and seeing how expensive life is. It's definitely a nice cushioning income, but it's not A LOT. A LOT would be something that makes you upper class. Like, stashing away 100k or more per year after expenses.

Or seeing how expensive life can be if you want it to be, is more accurate.

100k is a lot. If you are "struggling" on 100k, perhaps it's time to re-evaluate the baseline in which you are comparing yourself to.

ITT: Middle of nowhere is literally anywhere that isn't in a huge city. Suburbs exist for a reason bruh. I get it though, you hate poor people and don't consider them to even actually 'exist' That guy mowing lawns and taking care of your plants for a living? He's not a real person cause he makes less than me, so fuck him. People working in factories, or making your food, or doing any one of the very numerous tasks that are required for society, just don't really register as people because they think that making 67,000 a year is a lot.

I mean it's certainly a good income depending on where you live, and you should be able to be frugal and save a decent amount each month. But it's not rich by any means, which is what some people think. (In fact this topic is based on the other topic where CEclowns are literally saying 100k makes you rich.)

People saying 100k a year isn't rich are utterly delusional. That's more than 80 percent of people in the United States alone and probably more than 90 percent in the world. 100k a year is more than most people who have ever lived have or will ever make.

Edit only the top 93% make more than 1500 a month, so 100k a year is probably 99th percentile.

According to this logic, someone making $7 per hour is rich since most of the world makes like what, 50 cents per hour? What a stupid argument.
