SuperFetch is a Windows Service that is consistently analyzing your RAM usage overtime and it builds an index of what apps you use frequently and marks these applications appropriately. This system then preloads these programs into RAM in the background which speeds up how fast it launches. When you use a program less frequently, it eventually loses its frequent flag by this service and will drop out of this memory preload accordingly. When it detects new programs being used frequently, it marks them and allows them to preload into RAM. You can let this service run and do its thing with 8GB of RAM. You're not in danger of running out of memory nor will this have any performance impacts. I've never heard of SuperFetch, or knew this was a thing happening behind the scenes on my PC. How is that every's first thought? Hambo the Hog posted... Yeah but the controller is already in your hand when the rage hits. So? The controller isn't what's pissing me off, it was the game. So many times 4th or 5th grade me would be playing Earthbound and I would get destroyed by some enemy's critical hit, and I'd go into a blood rage and push the eject button on the Super NES as hard as I could, and throw the cartridge into the side bedroom next to mine. Usually I wouldn't want the cartridge to take too much damage, and maybe land safely on a bed. Sometimes though, that thing would hit the wall, and I would quickly sober up for a moment, then start marching over to the cartridge mumbling to myself like, "I swear to god, that better not have erased my data. Look what you made me do to you!" and then pop it back in the SNES to make sure I didn't cause too much damage to it. But those days were the last times I can remember being like that. I sort of mellowed out on video games when I got into middle school. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS?

I did come close to breaking cartridges though, which makes more sense because that's the actual game. The game isn't in the controller, so I dunno why anyone would get mad at the controller. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS?
