This is due to how the SuperFetch service works. SuperFetch is a Windows Service that is consistently analyzing your RAM usage overtime and it builds an index of what apps you use frequently and marks these applications appropriately. This system then preloads these programs into RAM in the background which speeds up how fast it launches.
When you use a program less frequently, it eventually loses its frequent flag by this service and will drop out of this memory preload accordingly. When it detects new programs being used frequently, it marks them and allows them to preload into RAM. You can let this service run and do its thing with 8GB of RAM. You're not in danger of running out of memory nor will this have any performance impacts. --- We're surrounding you. We see you, but you probably don't see us.
