People do this now for anything they think might be relating even remotely to Japan. There's a guy in my D&D group that's half-Japanese. After the session, we were playing Smash Bros. on his Switch when he recommended we play Nine Parchments. The gameplay is pretty close to Magicka, and the character design and artstyle is very western. In fact, the characters almost look like Dreamworks characters. The voice acting, story, art, is all obviously western, and the game was made by a western developer. Yet, from the moment everyone else saw the game, they all decided it was a "weeb game" for some reason, even though nothing about it looks remotely anime-ish. My guess is they decided on that because it was on the Switch that's owned by, and recommended by the one guy that's half-Japanese. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS?

There's a McDonald's in a Walmart I occasionally go to when I'm nearby. They got a whole remodel and change of staff. All the people I know are gone, and in their place is whole new management. They start putting the chairs up on the tables at 8:00 PM. They'll close the gate around 10:30 PM and start mopping around the customers' feet. There's definitely still people around when they start doing this shit. What kind of asshole rushes ten minutes before closing anyway, especially so for a restaurant? Who said anything about a restaurant? I wanted to get some hot dogs at Fry's, but they decided to close 10 minutes early. My apologies I couldn't get there earlier. My management actually makes us close when the fucking time says we close, and actually makes us work. Unlike those slackasses that just close up whenever. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS?

What's up with the giant Shinra hologram? I remember there was kind of a coolness to the scenes in the original game, but now it feels like they're just trying to make everything super fast-paced and big, huge, and explosion-y. It feels so soulless. Is there going to be a chase sequence before escaping Shinra HQ? And was that blonde guy one of the AC villains? What about that parachuting? Getting summons before even leaving Midgar? Seriously, "Remake" is totally inaccurate. It's more like "Reboot" now. --- WHO MODS THE MODERATORS?
