The internet wasn't anywhere near as pervasive back then as it is now.There was no social media and smartphones, but internet was still fairly common. There's a reason those jokes about AOL discs being so common is a thing. I had it, my family members had it, most of my friends did. | Kisai 04/06/24 5:45:31 PM #10 | It was spoiled for pretty much everyone. That spoiler was EVERYWHERE on the internet. Unless you managed to play the game on release and get to that point relatively quickly, you probably heard about it.
