Visit the memorials on the west side of the mall, and if you have time, the Jefferson memorial on the tidal basin is great, too. National Holocaust Memorial is good. Skip the spy museum unless you really have nothing better to do. If you go to the Library of Congress, skip the guided tour. The National Archives are neat but overrated in my opinion. The Kennedy Center is worth visiting even if you aren't going to see a show. Washington Monument I would not go out of my way for, but it's fine. If you're interested in touring the US Capitol, it might not be too late to reach out to your representative and see if they can arrange a tour. Not sure. --- to me hero's is just bad person |
