There's literally no reason for games to be this big. That's the problem.

Like I said before, if your weapon skin pack takes up more storage than Skyrim, there's a problem.

One of the major issues before was the duplication of files for quick loading because of HDD/ODD load speeds.

Now that everything is on quick SSD's, the dev's are De-Duplicating assetts from level files.

It can't "Improve" overall performance because when you need max performance is gaming usually, and you already have a dedicated GPU.

All you're doing by disabling the iGPU is consuming more power when doing everyday tasks such as surfing the web and using Office Style apps.

You don't need your 2080 for Excel SpreadSheets or Word Processing.

All you're doing is consuming more power at that point while doing the same thing.
