Faceball should have been a lot bigger than it was. Really underrated.

And the Final Fantasy II issue is also one of my favorites, setting the aside the bizarre character artwork that the NP in-house artist did for the characters.

The artist for those Pokmon pics, Mina Cream, did a very good series of images for Fire Emblem: Three Houses that all involve female character worshiping (female) Byleth's ass. Well worth investigating (... and more or less SFW, but I would not post them here).

Same here. A prequel to Breath of the Wild (which does not interest me), but a sequel to Hyrule Warriors (which I enjoy a lot). ... I am a little picky with my Zelda games.

Am I better off starting with the early stuff or just going with certain series? And are there a lot of different series? Because it was showing up with a few titles when I was searching it but everything looks kinda jumbled together on the wikipedia page.

Hard to say how much of it there actually is because Go Nagai is a crazy man who apparently does not sleep and is always doing new versions and spin-offs of his older works, but ... I don't recommend going all the way back to the '70s on this one.

If you go back to the OAVs from the late '80s / early '90s, watch with the English dub (so bad it's good, IMO) for the full experience.

We have already talked about Dancouga here, but --

Goshogun is goofy, but fun. And the theme song is like the Golion theme, but backwards.

Godmars is corny, but it really is one of the best '80s super robot shows, IMO.

Baldios is a weird one, but it's not bad, either.

I may have said it in this series of topics before, but my interest in reading comic books died in 2014. I did read the first stretch of Brand New Day in ASM, and it was all right for what it was, but ... I am never a big fan of jettisoning a ton of important character development because the writers lack the chutzpah to follow through. In this particular case, though:

One More Day was shit. One of the worst arcs Marvel has ever produced. All because Joe Quesada hates redheads.

Collection of Sa Ga (i.e. the Final Fantasy Legend trilogy) has been announced for Switch. This makes me happy, and I am going to pre-order it at the first opportunity, but ... I am a little disappointed that Square Enix is only doing the original Game Boy versions of the games. Sa Ga 2 and Sa Ga 3 both received DS remakes, and those remain stubbornly stuck on the other side of the Pacific.

On the game side, I deleted Warframe. The game seems like it's going to be way more grindy and time consuming than I'm willing to commit to it, so I'm dumb with it. Maybe I'll give it a second go when/if I get a new gaming pc.

Who knows? You might find Santana, who once walked among us here. Every time I spot him on Steam, he is up to his eyeballs in Warframe.

There is a growing case of sliding standards in the Social Justice regions of fandom. There are now people who literally believe that anybody under 25 -- when the brain is supposedly done developing -- is "underage". I've seen it over in Fire Emblem fandom (e.g. people calling Sylvain underage in Three Houses when he is canonically 20 before the timeskip).

To say that things are getting out of control is a bit of an understatement.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is only 40-50 hours and is the first entry into the series, but most people find it hard to get into because it's a prologue for the second game in the series. Definitely wouldn't recommend it if you don't like story heavy games.
