Electing trump is the biggest embarrassment this country has done since the long list of things we try to down play that we did during WW2. I have no connection to Trump, idgaf if you support him or hate him or are indifferent because it's utterly irrelevant to the problem. And if you can't grasp that, you are the exact reason why despite trumps best efforts to lose, he won anyway.

What progress is going to be made by going, "see its just the conservatives fault!". All it does is entrench the other side and force them to dig in.

Turning it into a us vs them thing is the dumbest thing you can do. Unite behind the tragedy to find a solution rather than point fingers and say nuh-uh it's your fault!

There are a lot of things between keep things as they are, when it's clearly not work, and taking away your guns.

Banning guns isn't a feasible solution, even if we ignored how difficult it would be to change the the constitution on any of the first 10 which are held in a special esteem.

Plugging your ears and going lalalalal, that is the easiest path to what you don't want. Because if you don't work on a solution, the attempt will be made by non gun owners who do not care about your ability to own a gun and do not understand what someone who legally owns a gun is like.

i am, i didn't play much before the patch so i'm not really sure what was in the update. i haven't had any big enough battles for performance issues. and the open world is just making it a chore since i don't have a lot of quick travel spots yet

Is it like, different at all?

depends on what you define as different. It's open world instead of maps, it's r1+button->square instead of square (repeat 1-4 times) triangle. There's some new characters. The scale of battles due to open world is reduced, but you're still button mashing your way through chinamen to kill an officer and upgrading your hero and equipment along the way.

DW has always been a guilty pleasure, they were mindless unlockable grindfest, and i loved them for it. My initial impression of this one isn't good but i was always skeptical of the decision to make it open world as I rarely like open world games to begin with.

the community that liked DW didn't want something (this) new, the community that didn't like DW aren't going to suddenly like this iteration. The combat is more shallow as no longer does each person have their own combos, it's r1+button -> square. And the open world doesn't add anything to the game. Though if they got rid of the grapple hook it would at least make castle sieges an actual thing.

There's a few small things they could do and I could see getting fixed in XL that would turn this from bad to okay, but i hope that this is the only experiment with open world. China is simply to big to try it on and DW needs most of china to work with it's story.
