From: Paratroopa1 | #252 I'm still not sure why everyone has jumped on the "LE is uu" train so fast. There's obviously some relationship here, but I don't know that it's as simple as "LE is uu" so I'm still waiting. I doubt the body we're seeing Calliope in right now is the same as LE, that doesn't seem to be quite right.
There's still a TON of stuff we don't know here.
True, but there's a lot of clues that they're at least related to him.
Plus it's very elegant from a storytelling perspective to show Lord English's origin and backstory by having either UU or uu end up being him. At this point it makes too much sense not to do, although this is Homestuck we're talking about so who knows.
Also, the implication that the character(s) specifically based off the Homestuck fanbase is the villain, the same villain who literally killed the author in-story, is frankly hilarious.
From: BlackMageJawa | #066 It has connectivity with that AR game and the Pokedex app, but you have to pay extra for both of those.
What AR game? And Pokedex 3D is free, or at least it was when it was released.
They're releasing a new Pokedex that has all of the Pokemon in it. The AR game is some Dream Radar thing where you use the cameras to "find" Pokemon in the real world.
I know the Dream Radar thing costs extra and you can find the alternate form(e)s for the Kami trio in it. I *think* I remember seeing a Japanese price for the Pokedex upgrade but I don't know if it'll cost anything here.
From: SupremeZero | #061 From: Pokalicious | #059 I wish this was a 3DS game.
GIVE ME MY 3DS R/S REMAKE. It's supposed to be 3DS enhanced, though, I thought.
It has connectivity with that AR game and the Pokedex app, but you have to pay extra for both of those. I'm not sure if they've revealed anything else (besides maybe video chat which I think was a DSi feature for B/W).
Personally I think they should bring back the Pokewalker, but as a free 3DS app. The 3DS has a pedometer and Streetpass, so it would be perfect.
From: GenesisSaga | #020 With the first three being great and WALL-E being very good. The other Pixar films are pretty average. Up could have been great, but then the writers threw away a serious, heart-warming narrative in favor of talking dogs flying miniature airplanes and such.
You're implying that Up can't have both things. <_<
From: __Smurf__ | #003 Its nice to finally see these kind of lists acknowledging LttP's superiority to OoT, though as with most lists they're a real mixed bag.
It's nice to finally see this list acknowledge The Wind Waker's superiority to either.
As a whole, GamesRadar's sees a lot more coherent. G4's seems like it's going more for "most influential" rather than "best game," but even then it seems very confused.
From: Ayuyu | #011 House centipedes are bro though, they kill pretty much every other insects AND spiders.
if they were truly bro they woudn't have the gall to come into my apartment and skuttle around looking like the horrifying pieces of crap that they are
From: tereziWright | #420 I hardly doubt that editorial is the reason we got "Superman dicks around with the legion for 2 issues right before the climax of the first story arc" and "Super Obama".
I actually blame Morales for the former, I think.
Whoa hey, the Elseworlds issue was awesome! I really liked the last issue too.
The Legion issues were alright. Kinda fun. But yeah they would have been a lot better if it would have actually finished the main story arc first.
Also I guess that explicitly clears up the confusion I had about The Scratch. I was always under the impression that it erased that timeline completely.
There are over 200 medals to collect, for achieving various bits of the game, and you can decorate your Trainer Card with them. These medals also give you a title given by someone. The medals are unlocked through a variety of things such as catching Pokémon, having a certain amount of battles and so on
I use RSS feeds because I have a bunch of other webcomics and things I subscribe to. And the RSS Ticker app for FireFox works pretty well for updating within 5-10 minutes of an update.
I'm......not sure if I want a separate program on my computer telling me Homestuck updated. <_<
Right now I'm somewhere around ten months sober. I'm basically asking if it's worth falling off the wagon again and back into that 'have to check MSPA every day' mindset again. Because with me there is no middle ground, I'm either all the way in or all the way out.
Just subscribe to the RSS feed/use the update notifier. It's not that hard.
I don't know how to convince you to catch up because you are literally so far into it that you shouldn't need convincing.
And I mean, quite possibly the best page of Homestuck is almost immediately within your reach, and there's like seven months worth of content after that.
From: PumpkinCoach | #372 Saucer Country is pretty good - restored my faith in Paul Cornell a little
Oh I forgot all about this. I remember going to check it out and then I just....didn't. I have to check up on New Deadwardians too.
But yeah I'll agree that Cornell's Stormwatch was extremely lacking, but Knight and Squire and Demon Knights was/is good stuff. I gotta get caught up on Stormwatch, too. I haven't paid any attention since the end of the first arc because it was so mediocre. But now it's crossing over with RL. :|
From: Ed Bellis | #121 I thought it'd be neat if the Condesce had 'powers' from all the trolls. Psychic stuff from the lowbloods and Vriska, STRENGTH from Equius, horrible rage from Karkat (uh). Stuff like that. They could be Lord English's little power boosts he's implied to have given her.
She does have all the psychic powers, or at least the ones we know of, barring Limebloods. Dirk implied she did shady research to get them and so the prototyping wasn't involved.
