One Pace does fix the problem by cutting out all the unnessary padding. But yeah One Piece is in serious need of a DB Kai version after the series is fully done.

One Pace probably IS going to be the go-to one for the main anime series considering the live action and upcoming anime reboot are already doing the truncated depictions.

Yeah, it doesn't really have a lot of long filler arcs like Naruto. But the arcs just get dragged out, especially the last several arcs.

You can tell it's when it's getting caught up to the manga because it's always towards the end.

That's honestly worst considering Audience Scores are more susceptible to review bombing than critics score.

Best way to go about it is to find reliable reviewers that you share similiar opinions with, because most likely they're going to watch the movie before you do.

Yeah, I've read critic reviews ever since I was a kid. Audience reviews are all over the place.

I'd rather have one that's more nuanced than reactionary like audience reviews are.

I had trouble following it watching at home tbh. Also, Comic Con had a replica course some years ago, and even the adults struggled with the Silver Monkey.

The problem with X-files mythos/lore episodes is they just aren't interesting. It reveals everything in a disjointed way, but when you piece everything together, it's kind of generic.

Many of the standalone epsodes outside of those are among some of the best sci-fi episodes made for TV, but again, TNG has more consistent quality throughout.

Spike Lee is the most hit or miss writer/director ever. I have no idea what to expect from this.

I used to go by titles alphabetically when I had physical media. For DVDs, it was movies, then TV.

Fun fact: since it was all reruns, the channel played in automation for much of its existence. After the channel shut down in 2007, Dish Network didn't seem to be aware of it, and the channel stayed in automated programming on Dish for another 15 months.
