You can either have eight players each control one runner with one control one joystick from four controllers, or four players each control two runners at the same time with each controller. I'm by myself so I took down the AI. It's not very skill-based, but it'd get some laughs at a party -- basically just change lanes and make other people run into hurdles. Steal My Artificial Heart It's pretty much a visual novel -- I kept reading and reading with several different backgrounds to pop up, and I only got to make one choice that felt unimportant afterward. | HaRRicH 01/30/17 10:45:09 PM #78 | In the Court of the Yellow King Not bad, but I'm gonna pick on it a minute: don't have respawning enemies respawn over and over again on the other side of the stage when the framerate ain't on your side! Otherwise, it was okay. The game dicked me when I got four of its five artifacts with a new fast enemy that I don't know if I can even hurt. This game would be a lot better to have at least one health drop! I got the other artifact on a previous run, but I'm a little frustrated and don't want to try to get all five again right now. Maybe later..... | HaRRicH 01/30/17 12:37:37 AM #76 | Little Party Hey, this is pretty charming! You're a mom going through the house while your daughter has a party for creating art and music. It's real simple as you walk around through-out the day talking with her friends and seeing how the day changes your home in the woods. Mechanically, I like how this game manages the expansion of your traveling space. You start with basically three rooms and a hallway but eventually explore all the way out to the highway. Your dog allows some good excuses for restricting access along the way, from the stairway-blocker to being scared to go deep in the woods. It was starting to ask me to cover a bit too much ground after awhile, considering my walking speed as someone in Mom-jeans...but it ended at about the right time, so no major offense there. Its home reminded me of my home growing up too, so that was nice. The artsyle's simply handmade with monsters about, story is weird and barely there, and the enemy monsters come out at unreliable times. Jumping is weirldly floaty too. I do like the idea of protecting someone while they sleep as well as how some of these monsters respond to your movements, but this needs more polish. This is my least favorite of his three games I've played so far, but it also tried the newest idea for a game between them too. I like the exploration aspect and needing not to lose yourself. Only the camel and sun-tracking item made sense to me, but it felt like there was a sense of patient survival here. Two things I'm noticing about this guy's work between this, birdsong, and Rougelight: *Simple color scheme...like, maybe four colors are in each game? He could have run wild if the Game Boy was still in business. *Vision...your point of view is obscured in a different way each game. This was awkward to play, but I laughed and appreciated the gun-jokes that came from making men into guns here. I tried to beat it tonight, but I got a big day tomorrow...sucks it won't let me save my progress, so I hope leaving it on sleep mode is fine. This game has a sense of humor and banter that reminds me of an ex girlfriend. Funny bratty bedtime-narration over a cool winter atmosphere, mostly interesting characters, snowman-building minigames that make you more attached to them later...this game has a whole lot of charm. It also has some light point-and-click puzzle mechanics that are kinda disguised as snowball-attacks. I'm into this. Maybe I can finish in the morning...if not, then Wednesday. I can't rell if the game thinks its clickable stuff are puzzles or not...probably not. They're just games of Chrckers or Tic Tac Toe or whatever that you click and it warps you to another area. Soothing for a few minutes, just don't expect a lot more. It had a flirty attitude with the "Check" game going on, and also it was funny to see that you could technically choose Sex as an option when you first see your girlfriend...only to be shot down. The story lost me a bit when it got into the anime-powers and doing a fight, but all and all this was like a cute heroic nerdy lesbian fairy tale of some sort. | HaRRicH 01/16/17 8:34:03 AM #41 | I should have mentioned one glitchy issue I had: while holding down my arrow-button, I can move left and right and I can consistently jump left holding it down...but the game would only rarely let me jump to the right with an arrow ready to go. I hate getting short on arrows and finding myself trapped, but so far this is legit. I'll be back for this one another day. After getting this error, I went to check out A(s)century since it was another browser game that least started for me before...and it now gives me this error I don't deserve too. Shame on you, browser games! At least I didn't have to download anything to get rejected.
