I like how I quickly dropped Symphogear due to 6 dupes to complete and then I switched over to Crestoria which needs 12 dupes for completion and I've been on it hardcore since (and my luck with it has been absoluteee crapppp)

although another factor with symphogear was my phone lacking space at the time and i finally upgraded it for crestoria

not necessarily at the end of the round but other than that yes

Sometimes an early save happened earlier in the round and just wasn't noticed so people go back checking save times after a character they liked went out, desperately searching for an invalid save to rescue them and lawyer out something else.

Doesn't happen so much in SMFFFC anymore now that we've gotten hyper-vigilant about save times but some contests can be a bit lax on it... but then again that's also because there's less people invested enough to check in the first place.
