I think its a necessary evil. Some turns are complex enough that the turns need to last tge entire length and the game can't distinguish from someone who is actually thinking the whole turn and someone who is griefing

Ouch, sorry! Yeah both times it's been games that have happened just before I need to get to bed and it's something that feels so absurd that I need to tell someone before I forget about it.

The one last night was particularly frustrating because my opponent roped me on his lethal turn only to play a holy fire from hand at the last second for the obvious lethal. Like I understand getting RNG'd is going to happen sometimes and it's an acceptable part of HS. I don't think I gave him any reason to be a jerk on top of that.

Currently 3-0 with a mage that has 2 pyroblasts. It also has 3 Curio Collectors (4/4 that gets +1 every draw) with a metric ton of card draw.

Control Mage being tier 1 on the latest Data Reaper means that we'll likely see more of them on ladder, which means more counters, which is not great for me playing Control Mage.

On the other hand, we'll get more players who don't really know how to play the matchup. Just had a mirror match with someone who got Jaina 5 turns before I did, but didn't know what to do once I stopped playing things and he couldn't make Water Elementals. As soon as my Jaina came down it was over because he kept giving me free 3/6's by flooding his board with minions.

He played a relatively early Alanna too despite me not playing a single Dragon's Fury yet, which did not end well for him.

I don't see him going convicted of Murder1 and I'm not sure how i would even feel about involuntary manslaughter.

Giants win 1-0 with a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 9th by Crawford after a gem of a game was pitched by Bumgarner (who sadly retired after 7 so he gets a ND). These are the games I love to see!

And after the next game against the Rockies we play 3 games in Arizona against the division leaders (4.5 games back). A good series there is going to be crucial!

So Zach is off the table for now, though if he's telling the truth he should really give more thought to phrasing. Its not supposed to be difficult to perspective as town when you are literally town.

And in any case the restaurant is getting busier and as i mentioned before im understaffed tonight and working 2 positions. Its taken me 15 minutes this far to get this post ready for reference on my available spare time atm.

So based on my impressions today i think my choice is to

Person A seems scummy.

Person B seems scummy.

Person A makes a potential slip. A slip which would imply B is innocent.

If A is scum, then as a result of the slip B is innocent.

If A is town then A made yet another shitth non town perspective post. B could still be either alignment.

If B is scum then it still doesn't say anything conclusively about A. A's "slip" could have been A telling scummate B to be better at appearing town.

If B is town then it still doesn't 100% have to fit into the A is scum narrative because that still could have just been a dumb town post by A.

In this I am uniformed person C and i can't say for sure, but what i can see is a logically superior reason to lynch A in a scenario where A and B are both scummy.

My 2nd role pm just says I am unexpected. I clarified and I can perform an action called "Unexpected" every night. I am not told what it does or anything about my action at all except that I can use it on others or myself and I have to use it every night.

So my role might be anti-town.

Obviously Shad's role I think is bullshit.

This is the part I'm not understanding about corrik's stuff.

Random thought: All the Jinjo's are like Jet Li's character from The One. They are all neutrally aligned and can only kill other Jinjos causing the remaining Jinjos to grow more powerful. Eventually one of the Jinjo's will win once he's killed all the others.

Well there definitely seems to be some crossover between mediums.

Jinjos are of course from Banjo Kazooie. And there was a meme about "nobody expects Jinjo".

The Tiny Toon reference is likely related to the Tiny Toons theme song in which there is a line that says:

The scripts were rejected, expect the unexpected...

If you are listening to it though, the "expect the unexpected" might as well be in bold because there is a good bit of emphasis on that line in the theme.

Hrmm, so a whole lot of nothing has happened today.

Shad is a mod confirmed...something. Quite possibly even the Jinjo he claims to be. (side note I kept thinking of Jinzo from Yu-Gi-Oh and was confused).

Chris likely gains some sort of perk or buff or...something for not posting more than once in the day. No telling if it favors town or scum to let him have it, but I don't think there is any way in hell chris would do this "to be inactive and not killed by scum". There must be something more to it.

Scare is yelling at Zam for being awful. This is a thing I can get behind. Zam, you are awful. Your play last game was awful, and I have awful feelings about our interactions together.

What I can not get behind is VOTING zam because of last games awfulness. It's been said by others, but Scare knows better than that. I'm very ill disposed towards Zam myself, but that has no bearing on his alignment this game. And i'm sure Zam will do enough terrible things to justify any manner of opinions on him based on his present merit with no regard to his past demerits.

I meant to bring this up before, since the replays show how long the turns are, but you might want to.consider playing hearthstone more slowly.

You don't have to go full "lifecoach" and rope every single turn, but maybe set a timer for yourself and simple refuse to take your turn until 20+ seconds have passed. Sometimes that's all it takes to avoid a blunder or to spot an alternate line of play that's better in a more subtle way.

Even on turns where you literally only have one viable play it can be useful to use your time to consider your opponents next turn.
