I wonder what sort of cultural change could have happened in recent years to make usage of the word "Fuck" so casually accepted? I mean, maybe it was the idea of a presidential candidate getting into a heated debate about his dick size, and the country just being okay with that as part of our political discourse.

If you think about it it's pretty weird that "fuck" was considered worse than words that are actually insulting to subgroups of people

Like I try to avoid using "bitch" (and when I slip up it's almost always "son of a bitch" as an exclamation of frustration, not targeted at a person) but I say "fuck" or "fucker" all the time

Words are just words. Not sure why "fuck" should be considered such a bad word that it shouldn't be used.

I remember sadly reading a post elsewhere where this guy called up the suicide prevention hotline, and he kept cursing--so the woman on the other end told him she'd hang up on him, and she did. Luckily he didn't kill himself, but that seems like a bad thing to do to someone threatening to kill themselves.

Is that the implication? That the money is specifically needed so they can say they posted their best report of donations?

Also how exactly does campaign finance work? There are limits right, so when does that reset? If trump is already campaigning for 2020 does that mean people who donate now could hit their cap and not be able to donate in 2019/20?

He does have a 2020 campaign though, there was a story about how he set it up the day after the inauguration and the campaign is paying $37,000 per month to rent office space in Trump Tower. I guess maybe Trump Headquarters isn't the campaign and he's signing in his capacity as an officer of Trump Headquarters?
