I haven't loved everything about Sultan but I'd honestly prefer to keep the list of possible options smaller to force people to decide from a short list. Ulti vs Wallz was my preference but evidently Lea would not be denied a spot in the conversation and Team Ulti is making a strong push for Ashe.

Nah, town can definitely gambit.

More often than not it causes mislynches when they do, but in theory it can be done correctly.

It started with:

"What's my role?"

"vanilla"

And morphed into something incomprehensible. Like something utterly mundane become almost lovecraftian of the course of a few hours.

No one took the claim seriously. And then apparently we were supposed to? And apparently ulti DID take it seriously? At least seriously enought to point to and say "she really DID scan me, look!".

Despite everything else about his understanding of his own role informing him that he should know that she shouldn't be able to know what his flavors even mean.
Despite the fact that it all occurred 8 hours before it could have possibly even occurred.

The only true 'ground zero' exists somewhere inside their minds that caused them to go down such a path utterly unprompted.

God damn this game got away from me, I was spending too much time trying to hit infinite in Marvel Snap. I did it, finally.

What's the low down right now? I am at least a topic and a half behind. I wasn't even caught up when I responded to death earlier I was just checking to make sure I wouldn't post in a stop.

Something about Lea pretending to scan Ulti.
Ulti accepting the scan despite it not making sense.
All of which occurred before day actions were resolved.

With no satisfactory answers from either of them why they are choosing to behave in this way.

I had wanted to force an either/or day between Wallz and Ulti and force people to make a decision but then all this Lea stuff kept happening. Guess wallz is safe.

I just don't get why Ulti would claim he thinks Lea truly scanned him as Vanilla, if his trait was confusing enough to not immediately key him in to being a Vanilla. Like if he eventually got to the idea of being a French Vanilla whatever, but him believing Lea claiming to have role scanned him just doesn't make sense there, right? Because whatever his trait is, it's not actually called Vanilla? Or else he wouldn't have been confused?

This is where the problem is. The things that would make you think Ulti might be vanilla was when he was claiming all sorts of random powers out of his ass he wasn't sure he had, not when he said he had too much roletext. I don't see anything that should immediately "Ulti is town vanilla" from this point in the game.

He didn't mention the unlynchable or PGO junk until the next day so that doesn't factor in to the time frame of her calling him vanilla.

-Have multiple traits
-Neither of the treats specify active/powers in their descriptions
-Somehow you believed you might have been unlynchable or PGO
-But you were still willing to trust a claimed vanilla scan
-And we have someone else claiming that they have one of your traits and it is NOT vanilla

If you have passive or active powers your PM will have said as much. Clearly.
If it does not then anything else is purely for flavor.

Even if there is 10 pages of pure flavor I don't see how it could be confusing because it can all be grouped as "not a detailed passive/active ability" and disregarded.

It's not clear and I do not have anything resembling 100% confidence about it. But I like them both as scum and it would please me if they are both actually scum. Especially after last game where all 3 vote leaders were town day 1.

But even if only one of them is scum forcing them both into vote leading positions will force scum to either bus a scummate or take decisive action to help them out and long term that's useful activity to be able to look back on.

You're both being deliberately chaotic and you're doing it with less than 2 hours left in day. Stop.

Whatever you think the conclusion is, I don't think Lea is going to come in here and give a clear answer.

If Lea is town I will only be happy with this play if she ends up drawing a bullet as vanilla. This sequence of events as an actual scanner is too risky to make. So yeah she's vanilla or not town at all (imo)

Okay so it was actually just BS, got it. Then sure I'm fine to lynch Ulti OR wallz. I think I like red and ashe better than the people on ulti though so I'm gonna lean that direction. Maybe we can have a rare scum vs scum end of day.

I think Ulti can be an easy read. But he isn't always an easy read.

I think he's always annoying and since my own frame of reference is his scum game where he called himself town a billion times it's hard not to have de ja vu.

BUT if the scan actually occurred or is actually being claimed to have occurred then I don't think we can lynch him today.

Just got to the "mom?" post (#233) and it's registering to me that none of wallz' posts thus far have really registered to me. I know he's in the game and I enjoyed the 'dad?' post, and remember he had to kinda-defend himself about the jaguars winning or something? But wallz has been almost notably un-notable through his posts.

But it's not the same as Death/Peaf who posted a lot but I didn't feel the need to quote or respond to. Wallz feels more like someone TRYING to be unmemorable?
