At the time I couldnt believe that shit was allowed on here, seemingly with no moderation or violation of TOS. I don't see it as much (if at all?) anymore. Did GFaqs change their policy regarding that, or did those users just kind of just stop?

X was controversial, but I loved it. Ti West set out with a goal to prove you could make a high quality smutty, risque slasher film with an actual good foundation in terms of plot and characters (im not saying its an amazing plot or anything, but the dialogue was good and the characters were overall pretty likable, which is very rare for a slasher) Then he blew my mind with the follow-up prequel: Pearl. Pearl by itself is a great fucking standalone movie about a psychologiclaly deteriorating woman (with typical slasher obsurdity). Mia Goth absolutely kills it in this role. Pearl also elevates 'X' immensely IMO. If Ti West and Mia Goth and stick the landing with Maxxxine, I'd consider it one of the greatest trilogies of all time (including any 3 consecutive films in a franchise).
