It's the debut of Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) and going off what Tony Khan posted on Twitter, potentially the beginning of a crossover/working partnership with Stardom.

Also the rest of the show has a lot of pretty high profile matches.

Yup, and I didnt like Banks before cause of her gimmick. Imagine my apathy when shes doing mostly the same thing.

Stardom is cool. Sasha Banks is aight at what she does has swag but I was never a mega fan. Her feuds with Charlotte were strange. I think they literally just happened so Charlotte could pad her title reign numbers.

Yes, first time watching since Worlds End. I liked Sasha so I hope she helps elevates the women's division. Pretty stacked card too.

Pretty much early in her career WWE kept her off tv for months so she wouldn't overshadow Charlotte

As usual with AEW "big" debuts, this will lead to nothing long term for them. Unfortunately, this is also going to follow the typical AEW woman with any name value routine.

Dynamite/Collision victories against former Dark person, Queen Ammikiaia(or whatever, who really cares she's gone already off TV), and Anna Jay.
Rah rah promos would being the best and wanting the AEW Women's Championship
Goofy segments with goofy Toni Storm
Lose to Toni at the PPV
Shifted to B-Shows and ROH.

She isn't there to job to anybody. I'm sure Tony has already given his speech to the female roster about how all of them putting Mercedes over will make the division great.

I like Ruby Riot err Soho. I don't watch wrestling closely anymore but AEW does have a glut of female wrestlers they don't seem to book well.

Maybe Mone' will be different?

One can hope but AEW is still way behind in pushing their Women and giving them TV time.

They pushed the hell outta Britt Baker and I really liked Jamie Hayter but she got injured. Anyhow my AEW knowledge is mostly outdated.

This show jumped from Sasha Banks to Samoa Joe to Kazuchika Okada to Edge & Christian to Will Ospreay to Jay White in the span of about an hour. This timeline still doesn't feel real to me. The fact that this roster even exists under one roof is just absurd.

Nope. AEW isnt enjoyable for me. Great wrestlers but a terrible product. Its almost impressive how theyve pulled that off.

They sometimes do these "themed" Dynamite episodes between PPV's. They're not quite PPV-level, but they're clearly meant to be bigger than a normal Dynamite.

There's also Grand Slam (their yearly Arthur Ashe Stadium show) as well as Blood & Guts (where they do their "we can't legally call this War Games but everyone knows it's War Games" match) and maybe others that I might be missing.

Whoah she dyed her hair and put CEO into it. All this love though is reminding me of Brother Love! To be honest I at least trust her at face value. Brother Love was a farce from day one.

Her theme sucks. AEW's composer (Mikey Rukus) has a weird track record of his music either being absolute bangers or complete shit
