I mean I watched Mankind get fucking annihilated. The moves they do are real and can mess you up, but the outcomes and the drama are all fake.

People like to pretend the stunts these guys are regularly performing aren't incredibly dangerous just because the show is scripted.

I'm sure Randy did the RKO as safely as possible. Anyway, taking a table bump like that. Props.

I didn't like Randy growing up but I think he's a badass nowadays tbh.

speed isn't a professional who builds his body everyday to take the punishment either

I get why some people prefer to say it's scripted rather than fake. People do legitimately get hurt doing that stuff.

Watching that, it's pretty brutal especially knowing that the guy probably isn't trained to actually take stunts like that. Of course the stunts are real. They're still stunts, but if you don't prepare or build up your tolerance for them, those stunts will absolutely demolish you.

I always kind of wished I'd get hit by the stone cold stunner, but damn that was the much more brutal version of it. Dude got kicked like 10 feet away and his head slammed into the table. At least the stunner somewhat cushions you, but I'm sure the neck whiplash sucks like hell.

I feel like that table was supposed to give way and didn't.

But yeah I love when people are like "it's fake". Like no dude, you can't fake falling 20 feet or getting slammed into a table. You can train yourself to take the fall or hit safely, but shit still hurts.

His head does not slam into the table. If it did he would actually be legitimately hurt not just sore. That is the part that is fake.
It hurts but it hurts a lot less than the real thing. The purpose of the move is to make it appear he his head went into the table but it doesn't actually.
